I have bukkits of human cameras. Pinhole, 110 film, Kodaks from before the Internet was born. My favorite film cameras are my Nikon Em, and FM. A Bizzilion filters and attachments for them rascals. I guess I are just sentimental. I think my Kodak digital DX6340 is about to go to the Happy Place. 6,000 pics for my logs and Marilyn's eBay store have worn it out. john who wants a 8 x 10 camera - just because.
Mythbusters covered this in their "NASA Moon Landing Hoax" episode. The shadows not being parallel was caused by the lumpy landscape. (we need an Adam smiley too!)
A good one is that there is a global reaching super sonic underground travel system dug via x? powered diggers which themselfs bore through soild rock at a fast pace "melting" through rock like a hot worm through butter. Example links from Washington to London, Washington to the either coasts, links to places of interest. I would not clasifiy that as a conspiracy theory, more good goverment & military preparedness. I mean if that does not exist some one needs their arse kicked.
I lol'd All the 9/11 theories just piss me off no end. They really do. South Park's take on the matter is the only plausible conspiracy theory relating to 9/11 - that the 9/11 conspiracies are themselves a government conspiracy intended to trick people into thinking the US government has that kind of aptitude or power. Single most important flaw in the Brain In A Vat scenario is that unless for some reason the simulation ceases or becomes inconsistent, it is totally irrelevant to us. Even if we are in the Matrix, who gives a crap? Nothing is different on the business end of things to if we weren't. Unless you're Neo (and you're not, I'm afraid ) it's not a relevant question to anything, ever.
Would hope the moonwalk was not fake but it is a possibility that it was. China faked a space walk.. Then later during another rocket launch broadcast live on tv they started playing audio of the astronauts onboard telling there tales of space before the rocket even left earths atmosphere.
The moon landing wasn't fake, and although I didn't bother to watch the China video, I easily found arguments against it. That and it didn't make the mainstream news, I'm not convinced.
If you watch a funny thing happend on the way to the moon, they show you offical nasa footage of astronauts that are ment to be around the moon but are really just out side of Earths orbit, messing around with optics making the Earth appear further than it actual is/was. Its quite interesting to watch even if you dont believe the moon landing hoax purely for what they were doing that day in history vs what is ment to be.
Last night, in the pub, a couple of friends and I were talked at by a crazy drunk dude. His theory was the following. It gets a bit rough, so hold your seat: Reptilian brains are behind everything (And the royal family are reptiles, he reckoned one of his friends went to work at Buckingham Palace and never came back). He reckons that scientists have programmed our reptilian brains to not let us see the truth, or Dark Matter. Apparently everything we know is light matter, but only because we're programmed to think that way by our scientist controlled reptilian brains. He also reckoned the Universe is not infinite, because if it's infinite it cannot be expanding too. We got chucked out of the pub at that point, it was closing time, but it was one of the funniest ten minutes of my life.
Sorry to change the direction of the thread, and I know for many (including myself) it's a hard topic to discuss - but I firmly believe that there were many untruths in the events of 911, and in the US governments decision to go to Iraq. I also believe in the JFK conspiracy. It scares me to think that the moon landing could have been fake, because really it would make everything that NASA have achieved since (Which amazes me more and more each day) a complete and utter lie. The moon landings were the NASA missions that started our exploration of space and everything since has been based on or conected to those early missions. To think that they deceived the American people and the world is grossly untrusting, but anything is possible. I will remain blissfully faithful in everything that NASA has done to date
