    I saw these listed on Scan today - pre-order only.

    However, they are showing the 120GB model at £50!

    I still have a few 128/512MB Western Digital SiliconDrives (compact flash), they ain't new to the solid state storage game :)

    I use them to archive documents, they are old SLC with a very long retention time.

    The 2.5 form is very appealing, lower heat and much quieter for mass storage, would never buy 3.5 again for an in ear shot drive.

    Exactly. Red and Black are the brands I first thought of, when I heard WD were releasing SSDs.

    Red would be some ways off. Think most raid cards have issues with trim when ssds are connected to them.
