    all my HDDs in 2 drives (no way trust all that data even if its replaceable data over a very long time)

    i just check if i can get another loan for 2 of them

    As I understand it, shingled recording has issues of write multiplication. It has its place, but one would probably prefer not to use it for frequently-rewritten data.
