Wow - That's 3rd humdinger of a race we had in a row!!

The smash at the end was unfortunate - I hope Alonso is OK after that big hit he took. Looked as if he'd hurt his leg, as he couldn't put any weight on it.

Eddie Jordan must be pretty pissed off, but not as much as poor old Rubens - the guy just never gets a break....

Highlights are on tonight at 12:15.

Totally pissed off, Coulthard pitted just before the crash or he would have had the win.

Oh how I laughed when Schumi skated elegently into the tire barrier, and parked it next to Pizziona's Jag.... :D

Was a bit of a carpark down there. I have to say who ever thought it was a good idea to have three culverts discharge their water over a high speed corner of a race track needs their head examining. However, because it's not Silverstone (What has Bernie got against it?), nobody will say a word... :grr:

Felt very sorry for Button - he was up for finishing ahead of that overpaid, undertalented gob****e Villeneuve again. And poor old Weber - he had a real chance of getting a podium IMO.

    GREAT RACE!!

Didn't watch it earlier, was out all afternoon, but taped it all so just finished watching it 'live'. Excellent race, loads of position changes, dangerous but courageous manouvers.

Well done Kimi, glad he won, but unlucky for Fisichella. Pleased as well for Alonso, and Renault have stated he's not seriously injured. Looked really nasty, just slammed into the stationary tyre from Webber's car.

I'll admit to clapping when Schumy slid off on turn-3 :worried: :naughty:
Well done to the rest, but *harsh* on Coulthard pitting a lap too early. Still, he scored, so not all bad.

Btw, anyone catch the awesome Honda Accord advert about half way through? Was about 3 mins long, and the only ad in the break. This big sort of assault course of different car components. Was wicked :D

Totally Agree! One of the best ad's I've seen so far this year. I doubt it was all done in one take though.... ;)

Hooray! I'm not the only one. I was accused of being "such a geek" for loving that ad! :geek:

That was one helluva race.... or swim. Have to say I disagree with you though GOO, I was pleased to see JV in the points. I tried to like Button, but there's just something about him makes me want to hit him. I used to like JV cos he was a good driver... now purely his amusement factor. ;)

That race belonged to David Coulthard, if he hadn't have pitted just before the incident then he would have won :(

Respect to Webber for recovering from the spin in the fatal position on the course. Nobody else managed to recover, just a shame he didn't recover the second time.

Did Rubens run out of fuel?

That'll be mighty embarassing if he did. Are Mr Braun and Monseiur Todt losing the plot? (as well as the races) :eyebrow: :D

That add totally rules, it reminded me of an old game I used to play ages ago called T.I.M (The Incredible Machine) where you had to 'build' contraptions like that to achieve certain tasks.

Anyone else here ever played it?

TIM rocked! I've been trying to get a copy for about 5 years :blah:

I might have to start watching F1 again if it's deciding to become interesting again...

And Silverstone as a venue is crap...Most only like it for sentimental reasons. It isn't the track that it used to be, it has terrible access, nasty spectator points and whenever you visit it, you always leave spattered up to your knees in that mud the shade of tea with milk which only seems to exist at Silverstone...

Personally, I'd much rather see a modern F1 car trying to take Dingle Dell on the Brands Hatch F1 circuit (but why oh why did they realign Graham Hill Bend?)

You know what, that's one of the first things I thought of when I saw him pull over; "looks like he's just run out of gas".

I still think the ruling that decided the classifications is a little bit mad. Webber crashed out heavily, which brought out the red flag ok? So it seems a little silly, that after the two lap count back, he is awarded 7th place and two championship points! I mean, he kind of deserved them after a great weekend, but he did crash and effectively end the race. Does anybody else find this strange?

Well then you are in luck because I still have a copy of it...somewhere :worried:

I'll take a look this week sometime and get back to you, watch this space!

Saw the advert on the TV last night... thought it was wicked.

Does it remind anyone else of the boardgame mousetrap? :D

The second time in a row that bad luck has handed the race win to the cardboard Finn and not our DC!!

Nice to see some new faces up on the podium tho, and not THAT german. Apparently he was slow in qualifying because he chose a wet set up. Added to the fact that he's supposed to be good in the rain, it's quite amusing to see him aquaplaning out of contention. Tee hee.
