Am I alone in that I enjoy a cup or Earl, or dare I say, Lady Grey?

It's been a while since I've had one to be honest so I'm not sure how much I like it. Assam is nice though.

    I hope it's a DIY grinder.

There's a chap on one of the forums that making his own (obsessively), and I'm sure at one point he mentioned that if/when they are available to purchase, they would need to weigh in with a 5-digit price tag :hehe:

Not at all, earl grey is my usual hot tipple - though MacBeans do a rather nice "blue lady" which is a bit of a treat every now and again.

That sounds nice, what's in it?

The problem I find with Earl Grey is that the intensity and depth of flavour varies a huge amount between brands. Some are very bland. My current "every day" favourite is M&S's but I recently had some from Whittards as a treat which was very, very tasty.

I'm thinking of making my own. I have a lathe and mill after all, and can get a ceramic burr grinders mechanism from a £20,-- Kyocera/Hario Skerton.

As for tea: a good China Yunnan always touches the spot. I'm still trying to find my favourite Sencha.

I keeping trying different beers since enjoying a Wells Bombadier Burning Gold so I'm having a go at a Sadler's Boris Citrov today. Also all the beers I'm trying are only £1.25 at Aldi so a bargain too!

Working on a stout (except fermented with lager yeast). Did up 58L of the stuff for a friend, who unfortunately no longer has a keg fridge handy, so now I need to drink it (it's a tough job, but someone has to do it).

I really need to get brewing again here - I have four taps sitting idle :(

Four empty taps? They really need to bring back hanging... :D

Currently drinking a "Brooklyn Lager" (which is more like a hoppy American pale ale. Very nice).
