Although not strictly currently drinking, I was away all of last week and drank a horrendous amount of different, quality beers. It was pure torture, I tell you. :waah:

Here are a few from a German bar I visited.

    Om... (Maisel's Weisse Dunkel, 5.2%.)

...nom... (Krombacher Pils, 4.8% and schnapps glass photobomb.)

...nom. (Veltins Grevensteiner unfiltered wheat beer, 5.2%.)

Inspired by the above, I've just knocked the top off one of the beers I brought back from my travels.

This morning: feral trade dark roast coffee.

At work: organic Japanese Sencha tea.

    Late afternoon: China Yunnan tea.

Before bed: chamomile blossom tea. Not the crap they sell in bags, but the actual dried blossom itself.

Have you thought about planting this for the bees? I have had great response to my flowering rosemary bushes, and can only wonder about the honey. Chamomile was my wife's next suggestion.

It was very pleasent. Not too hop forward but a tasty enough, light pale ale.

Oh yes, it certainly was. Lovely flavour too and drinking it from a proper 1 litre stein glass was great. A few more and I'd have broken into a spontaneous schuhplattler. :D

    Sarsaparilla... I don't don't particularly like sarsaparilla...

    ... I didn't realise [remember] I don't like it until I'd neck-ended most of the bottle

My reaction was something like this -

Last night I was lucky enough to tick a couple of beers off my bucket list: Thornbridge's delicious Jaipur X (10% ABV) and Brewdog's infamous Tactical Nuclear Penguin 32% ABV imperial stout, which was "interesting". :)

If you are pouring it into yourself through your mouth, it counts. :)

I've just had a pint of ice-cold cow juice (or "milk" as some people like to call it).

I won a bottle of Bell's Scotch Whiskey in a raffle - I have no idea with scotch. What's a great way to drink it?

Bells? With Canadian Dry and a chunk of ice.

Oh, and drop the "e" from whiskey - whisky only.

In this case, yes, as its Scotch.
If its from the US or Ireland, 'whiskey' is correct :)
