Fullers Organic Honey Dew beer, has to be the smoothest beer I've ever drunk, you could drink silly amounts of this stuff without even realizing as it slips down soo easy!

A couple of recent additions has left the previous drinks cupboard unmanageably full, so have just moved a couple of things around, which gave the opportunity for a nice group shot.

There were a couple of things that got crammed in the back that I totally forgot I had, bonus!

Always nice - like finding a twenty in a jacket you haven't worn in years. I'm a little surprised to see normal Tanqueray next to T10, it just feels a bit like having both Glenfidich's 15 and 18 year olds.

Anyway; a mixture of Strongbow Cider (yeuch - it was just sitting there) mixed 50/50 with pressed apple juice, yum.

One of them is for scenarios where many, many G&Ts are happening with friends round, which could conceivably decimate a bottle in a single sitting.

They're quite different though, different enough to justify having both of them in IMO. I prefer No 10 for certain though.

I've still got all my recently purchased whisky and other bottles to be going on:

    Glenfalcras 10
    Monkey Shoulder Batch 27
A tiny bit of AnCnoc left over
Full bottle of Singleton (was £20 in Costco! :jawdrop:)
    Holy Island cream liquor

And then there's the Hibiki 12 I still haven't gotten round to properly tucking in to, and a tiny bit each of Yamazaki 12, and Yamazaki 18 and Taketsuru 21 which I'm saving.

    I think I'll start tonight. :D

I don't think I'm ever capable of going that mad by myself. :D

A good cup of coffee sounds good right about now though!

Yea, you can't beat a decent cuppa. I'm waiting for a delivery of my usual coffee at the moment so picked up some supermarket beans to tide me over - Tesco finest Columbian medium roast something or other. They're surprisingly good.

I pretty much lost all my sense of taste following treatment for throat cancer. The one thing I really looked forward to whilst undergoing and recovering from this procedure was a pint of beer, John Smiths or Belhaven best was my poison of choice. Unfortunately they now taste foul.

I can now only really taste lemon or Marmite as Marmite beer is likely to be a non starter I am wondering if there were any lemon beers? I suspect the stronger the lemon flavour the better.

    Any suggestions?

I don't know about lemon, but isn't there a good strawberry beer? I've also always thought some of the weissbiers (e.g. leffe, hoegarten) have quite a strong flavour.

You could always chuck a bunch of lemon slices in a bottle of Corona I guess.

EDIT: Try marmite with scrambled eggs, it's brilliant!

But water doesn't make you intoxicated :eyebrow:

Picked up a four pack of leffe tonight, which I will have when I finish up some stuff I need to do. Nice soft smooth flavour, which beguiles the beer's strength.
