It's the last episode of Bobby Fudd this week, but Ewan MacGregor is alleged to be back in an Obi-Wan TV series in May, possibly even on "Star Wars Day".

Been looking forward to this new take on Reacher for months, only 2 episodes in so far but I'm enjoying it, and whilst it's fair to say the bar thus far (I'm looking at you Tom) hasn't been set very high I do have every book so far on the shelf so my expectations were quite high.

    The Investigation
    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9112152/

Just finished this one off, I like a bit of Scandi / Nordic noir but by jiggery this one was depressing, probably because it's based on the true story, it's a slog but done very well.

I just watched Top Boy. All of it. Literally a 5 day binge watch.

I saw it ages ago on NF, but when I looked at the description it seemed a bit raw and close to the bone for me. I didn't grow up on a council estate like that. Just literally right next to three. So I had pretty much seen it all before, if that makes sense. I need to be in the right frame of mind for stuff like this.

Any way yeah, I watched the two NF seasons then back tracked and watched the first one and a half. I guess it fell off of a cliff with C4. Season 2 (the original) isn't finished. Like how the hell did Sully know Gem in the modern one given the two had never met?

Any way the character that upset me the most was Jase. Or Jason. I had a friend just like that. His father was the worst person I have ever known. Ever. He walked around in rags like a tramp. My mate worked his ass off from 13, and would then come home to find out **** like his dad had sold his car to someone. It was mind blowing tbh. Just unbelievable.

I've enjoyed it. Thankfully I must be finally past the point where it makes me feel sick so there's that.

Finally just about through the Foundation.

Pretty enjoyable tbh, it's been years since I read the books but it has helped that my memory can flesh out the story a bit more.

Just started Ted Lasso, probably will watch all of that though.

But beyond that I can't see much more that's grabbed me on Apple TV. Any suggestions appreciated.

Doubt i'll continue after the free trial though, it seems predominantly a service you pay for to allow you to pay to watch other things.

We've just started watching Severance. Only 3 episodes in so far, but it's a great premise. As an actor I can't stand Ben Stiller, so I was really hesitant about a TV series he's directed. But I'm really enjoying it so far.

I'd also recommend Long Way Up. Thoroughly enjoyable series, far less "forced" than Long Way Down. Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman have such great chemistry, it's fantastic to see them doing something they love and having such a good time doing it.

Just watched the first three episodes of Halo.

It's... ok, I suppose, but I only played the first three Halo games (on PC), so I'm not as invested in the cannon as some folk and therefore less likely to spit bile and vitriol, as some appear to be.

I usually run through it every couple of years, just long enough to forget most episodes.

I watched the first episode of The Speedshop the other night, having bumped into Titch Cormack a couple of weeks ago.
I missed the pilot, but the current series is on iPlayer.
Titch is a neighbour at work and is a really nice guy, wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of him though!

The production company asked me if I had a spare workshop available to rent, and sadly at the time I had nothing available.
It would have been great to see that all going on.
Some good drone footage of the area and of my workplace too!

Mandalorian series 2, by god baby Yoda is cute
Picard series 2, so far so good
The Great British Treasure Hunt, not started this yet but high hopes
Preacher series 4, enjoyable background telly
Squid Games, not bad but very badly over-hyped

I'm not enjoying that, it's more about the story rather than the spannering which I hoped it was

Oh it may be time to activate that free prime month, I had no idea a second season was out.

Still have the last season of the Expanse too.

Give it a bit yet, episode 6 was released today, so there should be another 4 or so episodes to go yet
