Trying to rewatch star wars attack of the clones but Disney + seems to think I need a break every now and that as it starts to freeze.

The latest iteration of Spidey. Only 2 episodes available so far, but I'm liking the Jack Kirby-esque art style.

Goliath S1 was okay in the end. Odd that I happened to watch JFK (1991) the day before, and they're so similar in their flaws: both fixated on delivering a "one lone lawyer vs the big bad guys" but in the end, the lone lawyer's argument and case is, on the face of it, just really weak and badly presented and you wonder why anyone is taking him seriously.

Goliath was weird all round. The main character is meant to be an antihero I guess? But he's just an arse. I wasn't rooting for him. The fact that the other guys were even worse than him didn't really help.

I suppose I'm glad it's not just happening to me then. Had lots of buffering when trying to watch S3 of The Orville (multiple times an epsode), recently it's been a bit better but still not great. I tried to force myself to watch The Force Awakens (not a big SW fan), but gave up on it with buffering and that every time I left it for a bit and went back to the film, it always restarted at the same point about a 1/4 of the way through.

    Day of the Jackal
Enjoyable enough, slightly long winded, and the Jackal comes across as a bit of a useless drip, but enjoyable enough.

Pretty much, which isn't great casting for an international assassin extraordinaire.

Pantheon- Ending up watching the whole 2 seasons of this over the past week. Solid 9/10 from me and has got me reading William Gibson again!

I have shows I have on whilst playing the ROG Ally as I'm not too fussed about every detail, this is one of them, I like the actor but for this show he just isn't pulling me in as a world class assasin but I hope to get a 2nd season

I did not mind him as the Jackle but Lashana Lynch as Bianca was just bad casting, i spent most of the time just wishing he would put a bullet in her and have done with it.

Eddie grew on me though the series and had more depth to the character as things progressed.

The frame for frame recreation was a clever nod to Edward Fox in the original

Was it Lashana or her character that grated?
For me it was the latter

The convinced they're right and not giving up at any cost charactisation was a bit hackneyed IMHO
The change at the end from the film left it open for another series

Just watched the last episode, disappointing finish followed by money sucking obvious announcement that a 2nd series was on the way.
I must remember to cancel the series link and cancel recording when it pops up

I'd watch Rebecca Ferguson reading a phone book.

    Just finished season 2.

Loved it even more than the first tbh and that got me hooked.
