Ummmmm, ive been my usual pain in the arse and not asked for anything and let people guess...truth is i dont know what i want! Although i have just treated myself to a 22" hp w2207 second hand from a colegue for £90! its only a few months old... it was getting depressing working with my 24 incher at work and going home to my washed out 19" back of the net!
Its even more noticable if you go form 19" widescreen to a 22" wide screen like i did at work...the manufacture of 19" wide screens should be banned ...frekin useless things!
I want someone to make an affordable, reasonable big non-widescreen. The highest res can find it 1600*1200 and they are silly expensive. Shame the trend is towards wider and shorter screens - I spend most of the time on my computer looking at stuff that works best on narrow screens.
Doublesight 305W 30" LCD ^__^ Ya I already know what Im getting but thats okay its just easier that way versus getting something and then asking for the receipt to take it back lol or just asking for money lol.
lol asked my sister for a book on C++. not expecting anything from my parents, going to parties over those three days.
bought few things already as gifts for myself FujiFilm FinePix S9600 DSLR camera + all accessories needed and upgrade for my PC: 4 gb of ram, XFX 8800GT Alpha Dog Edition, WD 640 GB HDD, Akasa fan controller + 2 red fans. Need and want to replace my PSU and I think this will be my christmas gift Merry Christmas everyone!!!
i've asked for john hodgmans new book, some down booties, and a couple of other skiing-related things.
Real pov xmas for me as car tax, mot and insurance are all up end of Jan so I'm not spending much on people :X But I've asked for CK boxers, couldn't think of anything else :X
looks like my pressies got changed a bit... i now have no clue what i'm getting... which is kinda cool, i suppose... but i DO know that there's nothing special i want... i normally buy the stuff i want myself...
I have no idea what I'm getting though the other half and I agreed on items which don't take up lots of space and can be used frequently so it'll most likely be Blu-Ray's
As i have no GF or much family I got me mum a Black 8Gig Nano for a joint BDay and Xmas Prezzie. For myself i shall be buying a nice new telly. Maybe a 22" Samsung.
