I understand, but It was just most noticable. The recorded versions of HLAH, Wish and Hurt are pretty standard, but live, they are something else. However, if you were to compare that to something like Lostprophets (just using reading as an example) they still sound about the same as they were recorded.

That is completely subjective, but in terms of my taste in music , almost everything is better live plus I always appreciate a song about 10x more after seeing it performed live, it kinda adds more senses to the experience if ya get me

It may also be to do with the fact I have to get a close to the front as possible. Nothing beefs up metal more than bodyslamming in the pit.

As far as Nails goes when I can see Trent that close up you can see the emotion he puts into his music and it can't help but rub off on you. Gives me chills just thinking about it. -goes to check when next tour is-

I downloaded The Slip and promptly deleted it just minutes after. Never understood the appeal of NIN myself.

    Now playing...

The Slip kind of sucked anyway, personally I think The Downward Spiral was the bets NIN album.

    !!!!!

I think the Vice review put it best... Music that slides off your brain like warm sick off a cold plate.

I dunno, I doubt the album's anything special (mostly fillers), but live they're pretty damn awesome. I saw em before anyone had heard of them and they were one of the best supports ever. Ironically, The Times gave it 5/5 and the Sunday Times 1/5...

I'm listening to the TWiT podcast and some random free music I've been downloading off archive.org
