I have been listening to a few bands as of late. Mostly Beastie Boys. I am so sad there will be no more albums....:waah:

Celldweller - Bassline (As in; Birthright Instrumental. That song might even be more impressive without the lyrics, if only out of respect for the bassist; His fingers must be absolutely shredded!)

Really like his version of 'Time of your life', but is it just me or is he not really playing in the video. Looks like a mime, his fingers are nowhere near the strings most of the time, and it's out of sync. Made the video a little irritating for me, although was still a really nice listen.

I think that has a lot to do with the video itself. When I went to watch it for the first time, it wouldn't even play at a steady framerate for me in any browser so I had to download it and watch it. I'm not sure if he is or isn't playing in the video. I think he is, it's probably just a trick/side effect of the video encoding process that was used. The description suggests that the guy who did the video had never worked with HD before so this is entirely possible.

I was working with a veteran AV crew doing a rig up today, and the lead sound tech used this among other awesome 80's classics to test the PA. What a tune! Sounded so good being played at almost full tilt through a nice PA system! :D

Lupe Fiasco - Food and Liquor the entire album..

I need to listen to the bootleg version given that I've heard it's much better. Still tracks 4-11 are fantastic and 13-16 aren't too bad etiher.

After seeking for something inspiring to work with, I have now decided to listen to 200-odd classical pieces at work, and see if that works.
Paganini, Bach, Wagner, Mozart, Rachmaninov, Beethoven, and the list goes on
