The Firefly soundtrack, which got me into more folk/bluegrass music.

New Mumford & Sons song. The music video is supposed to go live at midnight and the new album comes out on the 25th. Super excited! Anyone know of any similar style bands? I haven't looked into it personally but this is the first of the genre that has gone "mainstream" on the radios and been popular. I loved the 1st album.

Was one of the suggested videos from another of his songs, first time I'd heard it, wasn't terrible in my opinion.
You can't destroy a song in my opinion, you can sing it badly, but the original is still there, so no harm done.

I knew, before revisiting this thread, that this would have made it on recently. Been listening to it constantly since I discovered it yesterday :wallbash:

Between the Buried and Me - Selkies: the endless obsession

I knew of BTBAM before, but kinda wrote them off as "Meh.. .another deathcore band that will inevitably bore me to tears." This son had me buying the Alaska Album - it's not bad so far.

Blue Man Group, Shadows. The instrumental version. Sounds great using my ATH-M50's. And keeps the noise of the snoring bum beside me from entering my ears.

    NOWAI!
Rise and Fall... was mellow, but at least the songs were good.
On this, there's 3 songs that stand out:
    1) cruising california - stands out for the "Bumpin' in my trunk" bit, which makes it sound (as it should, in that case) like a club song.
    2) OC Guns - Ridiculously sticky, that song... but again - because it's funny.
    3) Dirty magic - because it sounds EXACTLY like they mix-and-matched a few songs from their previous albums. that intor is "vultures" rehashed.
