Trivium's new album The Sin and the Sentence.
Really enjoying it so far, can't really pick a favourite track yet, possibly Other Worlds, Beyond Oblivion, The Heart from your Hate, The Sin and the Sentence or The Revanchist.

Went to Gorillaz concert last night, "pretty dope" as the youngins say.
Of their new album the two songs that I really wanted to hear weren't played though. :(
They played the "classics", so that was nice.

I've always loved OMD. This song is so beautifully melodic and relaxing. Had it on repeat for about 35 mins now. They were awesome on that 80s thing the other night too on the beeb.

Just bought the CD after suffering with MP3 for about ten years. I left my CD in the USA like a div. One of the best bands ever, IMO.

Haven't heard anything from Suzanne Vega in ages - this caught me off guard (after 15 years or so), just by how simple and beautiful it is.

'Trois Morceaux après des hymnes byzantins II' by Anja Lechner & Vassilis Tsabropoulos from the album 'Chants, Hymns and Dances'

Very nice duet with lots of interesting changes in rhythm and time signature.
Always impressed by the impeccable (musical) timing of the pianist in this recording.

Unfortunately all videos of the CD or live performances seem to have been removed from YouTube or muted, so here's a little Google Drive link to my own copy of the piece if anyone's interested in a listen.
