Came here to post this up. Both groups are so much fun.

 

I'm a bit behind on Wardruna, I hadn't heard this before, and Einar Selvik never fails to impress.



And Heilung dropped this earlier today. Absolutely incredible, I am so looking forward to both the next Lifa releases.

Lately I have been down a bit of an Igorrr rabbit hole...

We've all seen this one... It's the point at which you'd normally decide you've had enough internet for one day.



And then I discovered that this... "unique"... artist did a collab with freakin' Corpsegrinder, and my curiosity was thoroughly piqued...



And then I learned the challenges one faces when crash-landing on a desert planet only to have the local mystic desert musicians start playing some kick ass music instead of helping carry a monolith... Also - it turns out the Bene Gesserit have some serious pipes...



And then I discovered that not only is it indeed possible to shred the absolute bollocks off an accordion, but that "Industrial Death Polka" is a genre of music that exists. EDIT: And, apparently, putting some frilly lace on your dog and giving them a big cwtch is a fantastic way to get the most out of your already amazing voice.



I've often described myself as enjoying "all types of music". But today I discovered that I am, in fact, quite naive - I had not considered the possibility of having "all types of music" in one song:

 

I feel like I need some light entertainment...

They're amazing live if you get chance to see him, managed to catch Igorrr at arctangent last year and ended up being one of my favourite sets.

Serre is also in Corpo Mente, who are slightly less eclectic, but also worth checking out.

 

I have Igorrr's collector's edition album here. Insane but brilliant.

 

I saw a comment on the “ieuD” video saying that the chicken at the end is legit part of the band and I thought… “Yeah, I believe it, I’d believe anything about Igorrr tbh…”
