Heilung's "LIFA Iotungard" was released yesterday evening - recorded at Red Rocks Amphiteatre in Colorado, October 2021.:

What a show... what a venue...

Can't wait for "LIFA Llyn Dain" to be released, even if it's going to make me really annoyed with myself for missing that show...

Really not the sort of music that I will be normally listening to, but I have been really enjoying Ren's stuff.

An abridged selection of this evening's entertainment.

When I say "I have a broad taste in music"... I mean it...

Back in 1999 I went to see Fear Factory at the Newport Centre and Cubanate were the first support act. Based on that performance I thought they sucked bigtime and actively avoided listening to them.

19 year-old me was a ****ing idiot, because this is bloody fantastic.

    I have just watched this:

Which goes into the background of everything too, and I have to say that I agree with Tank (as I normally do, he's a sensible guy who knows a lot about the industry), after learning about the build up to this, I was expecting something like this, but not that hard straight off. I think that whilst this style of music is not what I usually enjoy listening to, Ren is a good example of when someone is very good at what they do, they are normally enjoyable to watch, or at least you can appreciate what they do.

Tank does a fair job of giving an overview of the background, but I thoroughly recommend watching Ren's video:

He goes into so much detail about what went on and shows screenshots of the messages exchanged. Some of it is absolutely unhinged.

Whoever Kujobeats has for a lawyer/solicitor needs a real slap in the face, if this ever gets anywhere near an actual court it will not go well for them. If that were to happen there's a chance that Ren hasn't exactly helped his case, but I think there's more than enough evidence to show how hard he tried to reach an amicable solution.

And yeah, it's not normally the kind of music I'd listen to, but Ren is less "musician" and more "artist". And "Hi Ren" still hits like a train, no matter how many times I watch it.

Yeah, I went and watched that as well afterwards. It's some crazy stuff. Not really one for drama, especially in the music world, it all too often smacks of a publicity stunt, but this has been a brilliant response to it all, proper made me grin.
