Modding what are your favorite LCD programs??

    well what is all your guys' favorite software for character LCDs....

    i kinda want popular opinion for my 4x20 lcd im getting....

    ive read the FAQ, and i like the looks of LCDC but i dont really wanna pay money for it.... any other favorites???

    I've heard LCDC is the best, and its what i'm going for soon.
    you use msn?

    LCDC is only for serial displays, and dont try to get support from the site or forums if your not using a matrix orbital display.

    what really amkes LCDC better??? just the stability? or is there more options to go with it???

    will i be able to have MBM5(or some temp reading software) work with all of these programs? id also like a winamp plugin as well...

    LCDstudio

    Its free. Its easy. Supports most graphical LCDs (and character too). Easy interface. Lots of forum support, and individual members developement.

    I use the following,
    character based: LCDC (my MO only), Smartie,
    graphical based: LiquidMP3, LCDinfo

    I second the vote for LCD Studio, drag and drop screen configuration. Doesnt get much easier and user friendly than that.

    I use jaLCDs (just another LCD software)...
    Lots of features and simple (me thinks)... ;)

    jaLCDs is the only thing I've found to work stable with my parallel LCD. It's easy to use and customise as well as support winamp and mbm5 plugins.

    Shouldn't think so. Another Parallel LCD driver is PowerLCD. Nice... :hip:

    yeah, i leave powerlcd but its for graphical lcds only, + liquid mp3 rocks too

    personally...i like to use SmartieLCD...its free and easy to use on my matrix orbital LCd....the prog is kinda buggy...but overall i think its pretty good
