i've tried utorrent and abc and both keep not responding at various times now i'm unsure as to if this is becomes of my overclock or just vista being silly? seeing as its prime95 stable for 24 hrs and runs crysis and all games smoothly without stacking:S
    so basically what client?
not azureus as i hate this Vuze thing its annoying.
i just want simplistic with queuing functions and no extra all-in-one additions like vuze is.
    cheers
    oh and links;)

That's odd.. uTorrent works fine on my Vista -- never ever had any issue, you sure you're using the latest one / 64 or 32 bit?

I would say try out just the "normal" bit torrent client: http://www.bittorrent.com/download?csrc=splash

But from what I understand it's pretty much just uTorrent, can't hurt to try it though

uTorrent. No problems here with Vista either. Second client that I can think of (and have used, not in Vista though) is BitComet. Maybe that will work?

Is your OC actually stable? Have you stress tested it enough?

@Jipa A lot of high level sites banned BitComet, not sure if that effects keef though...

Oh I thought it only was some versions... uTorrent is better anyway so that doesn't really matter to me.

I love Vuze lol :worried: You could try BitTornado or Bitlord, I've used BitLord on Vista and ran smoothly. However, I have heard µTorrent is good.

I use Azureus, with all the Vuze stuff turned off. Works very well. I've never got on with Mu-Torrent, its never given me the same performance as Azureus.

Zultrax has lots of features, and is (apparently) Vista compatible

utorrent by miles. simple or as complex as u choose it to be...i turn nearly all the extra windows off and keep it simple, small, and fast....very small memory usage too.

I had similar issues with a version of utorrent a while back, can't remember which off the top of my head, have you tried using the beta versions? I've not had any issues since I switched.

It's all about Azureus tbh. Turn the Vuze balls off, and it's still the best client by far.
