    just wondering...

    making a web site and wondering what browser to make is for


    a poll woulkd be nice... :thumb:

    I would imagine that you're going to find that IE is the most used by far...would be interesting to see which comes in second, Netscape or Linux browsers (whatever they are called).

    yeah, I'm using Mozilla, (the pretty much same as netscape 7) but started out at netscape 7 and before that, IE, but I'm sure other people would have different tons of ones

    i use CrazyBrowser :rock:

    its soo good, it is a 'mod' if u like for IE so it uses IE's shell but adds all the cool things mozilla is famous for like tabbed browsing, ad blocker etc.. but underneath it is still IE so you retain IE's great compatability (CSS,JS etc..)

    EDIT: it also does page translation mouse gestures and all that cool stuff so download it now!!! from here: http://www.crazybrowser.com/ :clap:

    I use IE6, and I kinda hate the fact that it freezes for 20 seconds when I type in a URL that doesn't exists :wallbash:

    mozilla build 2003050714 v 1.4b to be exact also use IE 6 for music video sites


    also good idea if ur making a site is to preview it in diff browsers

    tried a mozilla browser and absolutly hated it. I much prefer IE6

    CrazyBrowser in Windows
    Opera in Linux


    IE is by far the most used though. Example.

    if you like IE6 (like me) you'll prolly love crazybrowser or MyIE2 as they are just extensions to IE so its all the good stuff about IE +more :)

    IE, though I think Mozilla and Opera are probably the 2nd and 3rd most used in that order.

    Yeah, same here, loads of people criticise it, but for most people it's probably best since it:

    1. Is easy to use
    2. Is fast (enough)
    3. Has an uncluttered interface
    4. Has possibly the best support around for things like XHTML and CSS2
