NSX over here are like 40k for a Type R RX-7 for a decent one your talking 10k-12k for one thats in good condition and just rebuilt.
Focus is a good idea, whoever suggested that. Best car in its class and still a wonderful thing even now.
ANY BMW E36 or newer with less than 80k miles on it. I'd look into E46's 3 series probably coupe and manual unless you are a chick. Driven lots of cars and by far BMW's just beat all when it comes to luxury/price/performance. Nothin comes close IMO. Not saying there aren't any other cool/fast/luxurious cars out there but when you're going for all three you just can't beat BMW's Of coarse that's in the states dunno what the market is like overseas. I would assume it's better but what do I know. Oh and the 318 or whatever that silly 4cyl model is gets great mileage
define decent.........I've never seen an NSX that was "decent" for under 8. I mean lots of high mileage or medium mileage with shitty paint/interior for that....
Quick search (I get excited about cars) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BMW-328-CI-SE...s_UK?hash=item23025da9a7&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BMW-328-Coupe...s_UK?hash=item45ed324fbb&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BMW-328-Conve...s_UK?hash=item4ce95bb086&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 My personal pick (make an offer at 3k maybe he'll take?) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1999-BMW-3-SE...s_UK?hash=item45ed6797af&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
I'm looking at cars more in the group 6 insurance category, the BMWs are nice tho . I dread to think how far i'd have to bend over to get insured on a 16, if i could get any insurance at all! Seat Ibizia 1.9TDi Skoda Fabia 1.9 TDi Not the coolest cars but cheap insurance and with vw parts shouldn't cost too much to maintain. Im pretty sure i want diesel and not petrol now too so the choices are limited! Maybe a focus? FOCUS 1.8 TDCi
I would go for a 206 hdi/gti, you would be able to get a nice one for 3k. (The gti is insurance group 14, but the hdi is quite low, possibly a 5). 206s are great fun, although they aren’t the most reliable.
I'd go for a Focus tbh. The TDCi is supposed to be a great set of engines, the car itself is truly excellent - well built, reliable, a hoot to drive, a proper masterpiece.
+1 for the focus, but consider the 2.0 TDCI mk3 mondeo's aswell. You can get a lot of spec for your budget.
2001 FORD Focus 1.8 TDi Zetec Might go and have a look at that tomorrow. Need to start thinking of flogging my polo now! Webuyanycar la la la..
Sorry I'm not familiar with the insurance policies over there. I guess that would make a pretty big difference lol.
Grats good choice, people turn there noses up to Skoda's still but they've got the best build quality in the VAG group, so a smart choice.
Perhaps, it was coincidence. Found one a year ago, 40k miles nice interior all that stuff. Then again, the day I went there, there was about 15 people there.
