A little problem has come up, Im ordering an i7 system for my friend tomorrow, and scan seems to not have either the antec 1200 case nor the HAF 932.

What alternatives would you lovely bit-tech people recommened around the same pricing and good air cooling performance

I have the Haf922 and really like it, if you add the optional 200mm fan to the side, or two 120mm fans, it has the same cooling as the haf932, plus if you read the bit-tech review for the 922, they made quite a few improvements over the 932.

Excuse me in advance for asking a silly question, but if you're looking for the 1200 or HAF932, why not just buy them from another e-tailer???

    Fair enough.

    Lian Li PC-P50B Armorsuit?

EDIT. Forget that, it's at ebuyer, not Scan!

Don't think there is a specific section for core I7 coolers as most coolers come with brackets for all three mounts so they are all bunched in together.

Ebuyer has the Antec 1200 in stock and as mentioned above its free delivery. Is it dearer than what scan were asking, if not just order from ebuyer.

+1 for the 900. it's a good case to build for people although it does have a lot of holes.

(My friend's one growls at me. :()

I've always liked that case but didn't realise you could get it that cheap now.

I did a quick search for reviews and prices and came accross the CPC review from last year that didn't rate it for cooling, have they changed things to improve it??

    Aforementioned review from CPC

It's collect from store only and you're lucky if you're near a store that has one.

CM 690, for price per CFM, even the Antec 300 doesn't come close when you fill all the fan bays, and if your willing to do small mods, the side panel is solid so you could do either a window mod or a massive fan mod...

    902!

Go for the Antec 900-2! You can get it at Scan and is perfect for first builders. Plenty of room and plenty of cooling, you cant go wrong.
