I found a guy who will paint my computer case for me at his auto body shop, so I thought about getting the chassis painted, but I don't know what colour I should do and I don't have too much more time to ponder it. My case in a old pic:

I want to paint the inside chassis but I don't know what colour to do. I thought red would look the best but thats been done before (red inside, black outside) and I'd rather it be more unique, so I need some ideas for colours. I was thinking blue, as I have blue LEDs in my PSU fan and CNPS9500, which I can't change easily so I need to work around that. Any ideas? I'd just like some opinions to help push me this way or that.

Recently there has been some really clean looking white cases. I definitely intend to go white soon.

A medium shade of gray would be different and go well i think. A metallic grey would be nice, if you wanted to bling it up a little that is.

Since it is being done at a body shop, I would go with a pearl blue, with maybe a dark purple highlight. It would look great with a black case. I have no idea what the proper name is, but it is the color that changes depending on which angle and how much light is hitting it.

...And please people, no puns about the purple cause it does look very good if you have ever seen it :thumb:

^I think he's talking about 'candy apple blue.' It might cost more and take more than one coat, but a metallic candy would rule.

Really deep red. Or one of those 2 tone paints thats black one way, and red the other way you look at it.

Go for Red! It'll look wicked. Even better if you get some red lighting. And by the looks of it, you have the same mobo as me!

people joke about black and pink, but i've long been thinking about doing a fetish/kinky PC case. black and pink, bound with studs and chains, and, get this: ripped fishnet stockings!

ahh mate, it would be wikid! i like the idea of it being less steel and mechanical than most other PCs, hence the inclusion of fabric in the way of fishnets. heck, i'd like to include a whip somewhere but i don't know how that would fit in!

I'd go for a super glossy blue or a red pearlescent

Toxic green. Can't really tell the right shade, but I just happen to like green and also think it's the less overly-used colours in the modding scene... Good enough reason for me!
