I managed to pick up a 12" G4 ibook with 512mb RAM new with 10 months left on warrentee. Considering I've managed to get it off ebay, can you tell me what exactly is included in the box so I know I've got everything. Thanks.
I'm not an iBook owner, so I can't be sure - but I'd assume that you'd get a similar kit of bits as to wheat the powerbook ships with, namely: The Charger, with a wall plug attachment and long cord attachment The Manuals A software pack that will include the OSX disks and the iLife Disks A modem cable A video out cable (small plug to normal VGA) http://www.apple.com/uk/ibook/specs.html
I dont think the ibook contains the long cord for the charger (at least mine didn't, and I bought it from the Apple store). You wont get a video out cable either, I think.
When did you get it? I know four people with iBooks and they all got the long lead and the video-out connector.
I imagine if they see that you're holding an iBook, that's proof enough (assuming you're going to the Apple store). But if you provide them with a serial number or something that might work too.
