what cost more pc2700 or pc 3200?

    how come on newegg.com a stick of corsair 256mb or 512mb pc2700 valueselect costs more?

    Could be due to availability of the memory... if there is a shortgae or limited stocks of the 2700, then the 3200 will be cheaper.

    Also brands will have alot to do with it as well...As in everything else a name is worth a few $$ or in most cases alot of $$$$$
