Ok, so I now have a small amount of spare money that I can spend on the computer.

    Specs:
    Athlon 64 skt 939 X2 3800+ (good hsf)
    1gb corsair 2-2-2-5 DDR400
    7800GT
    X-Fi
    couple O' hard drives
    dvd-rw 20" screen
    good quality headphones

Ok, so memory case and graphics jump out at me for obvious places to spend, however only £60 limits the case I can buy (and the graphics) and the memory would have to match my clocks exactly (275MHz@3-4-4-8).
Anything else you think would be a good upgrade.

You want to be upgrading the memory first, as 2GB is pretty much the sweet spot for gaming and Vista - couldn't you grab an identical set of your current Corsair sticks?

chuck in another HDD? 250Gb for that kinda money.

try and pick up another 7800GT on ebay for an Sli set up. is the 3800 a single or dual core? because a tad more cash and you could have a opty 165 or a 3800X2

*edit* noticed the 3800X2 you have, sorry.

I already have 500GB of storage, while I'm very media heavy that's plenty for the time being.

Thanks for all your help guys.

I wouldn't write off a nice case for that money. The Antec 900 is dropping all the time. It has great cooling ability and looks great imo.
    It's £65 at dabs.
    I'm seriously considering one myself.

Other than that hows about a new gamepad and a couple games? The xbox360 pad is excellent.

EDIT Actually i agree with the RAM suggestions. :D

To be honest, unless you're planning to replace that RAM with mine, you might find you can't OC 4 sticks of RAM to those kinds of speeds. I'm not totally sure, but I doubt it...

Aye, I know about limitations but an extra gig will far outweight the speed increase of a few mhz.

Fair enough, just thought I'd give you my £0.02, wouldn't be fair otherwise. :)
