What currently makes my life awesome is that a lot of footage that I took at the Odyssey Arena on Friday and Saturday night of last weekend (and captured onto my laptop using direct-to-disk for the first time) was shown on the Elite League Highlights show last night on Sky Sports - It's the first time any footage of mine has ever been broadcast! I've only been operating cameras at the arena for a couple of months, I'm normally just a tech on game night but have covered "stage based" events with similar equipment in other locations before

Assuming you're talking about success with the opposite sex and on the same theme I'm out on a date tonight - the first one since August. Fingers crossed!

 

Long story short, managed to pull her away from her friends for a second and asked her if she would like to go see Harry Potter with me. She said yes but only if she can get her work done before hand since she has a $10,000 scholarship depending on her grades. I told her that I would take a rain check since that was more important and she said that would work and probably be better.

 

I am getting my iPhone 4 before Christmas. So m excited.

I got GT5 finally. It is very awesomes!

Spent all day Saturday with me girl. So full of win. Was a bit difficult talking since she lost her voice Friday so she could only whisper all day on Saturday. lulz

What was real awesome was we got to be alone the entire day. I picked her up at 9am and we went out till the evening and when we got back to her place her brother was leaving and her parents weren't home so we got to be by ourselves for a few hours until I left.

It was a good day and brought us even closer to each other in our relationship.




Oh I also had alcohol for the first time (well besides a few sips of wine a few years ago). Had this drink called Long Island something... Dont remember exactly. Never been to such a fancy and expensive restaurant. But the food and drink was good. Was a very good time.


Pretty much everything is awesome in my life.

My life is going very well right now, saw my girlfriend for a few hours yesterday, worked on my FO:NV mod for most of the day, Just had some delicious homemade cheesecake for dessert, my Razer Blackwidow is showing up tomorrow, and I have most of tomorrow free to finish up my homework

 

Had a ****ing awesome night out! For once I was out without worrying about a female etc, left me to have fun! 4 numbers later and I'm a happy man, then a 4 and a half hour convo with floormates made it even better, overall? Brilliant day.

My fitness is improving rapidly!!!!!! yeah boi!

 

Hahaha! Brilliant! Jump right in at the drinking deep end! From nothing at all to four spirit cocktail. I'm impressed.

The thing I find with the Long Island Ice Tea is that when it's made well it's the best, but when it's made badly it's probably one of the worst drinks in the world. I always have one when they're available and probably only 20% of them are any good.

 

I had a four day weekend (UAE National Day + Islamic New Year) and spent every night with my girl. Lovely

Got my new contract at work sorted today and got a pay rise of about 350 quid a month which is... lovely

Sorted my christmas holidays so I'll be back in the UK 24th Dec to 3rd of Jan by which time the snow will have probably just turned to rain and slush

Still lovely though.

And I went to the gym for the first time in like a month last night. It hurts but it feels good.

Things in general are indeed going swimmingly.

And its hometime in five mins! yaywoo

 

I finally beat my brother at NHL11. I was losing 3-0 with 4minutes remaining and managed to win it in overtime

 

I don't have anything to rant at on a damn tuesday...

I just finished a 14+ hour working day - 09:00 to 23:30. Better yet, I did that on 3 hours sleep, because I had a late night testing some hardware last night. It was made much more difficult today by a large amount of travel being necessary throughout the day and the freezing fog, heavy snowfalls and other idiots on the road who don't know how to deal with it, but holy crap I missed being this busy. There's something I love about leaving the house at 9 in the morning, being flat out busy all day and not arriving back until after everyone else is in bed. I suppose it's a sense of achievement - we got a lotta work done today, despite the conditions!
