Was it a difficult one to do? I ask because my wife has a P30 Pro that she dropped in the bathroom and cracked the back on the tile floor, also cracked the floor. I've been unsure if to try any replace the back, it still works fine and she keeps it in a case, but if it wasn't too difficult I'd probably give it a go.

Little F**ker, offspring of Mr F**ker (my pet robin last year) has returned. It cheers me up immeasurably to be greeted by him/her whenever I go out to put bird feed out, even if it is just to get chirped at (which is no doubt robinese for some sort of insult).

Lovely, Robins are great company in the garden and lovely to see.

Not sure how you tell Mr F**ker and Mother F**ker apart as they are rubbish in the gender distinction plumage department!

Best visitors I had in the last couple of years were Mr & Mrs Bullfinch, very beautiful and off again in no time.

We have a couple of Robins that come in to our back garden.

We also have a few grey squirrel's as well, and they are so comfortable around us, that they will come right up to us and take nuts from our hands.

Getting the back off wasnt a problem, my cheap ifixit heatpad got lost a while ago, so i basically used my neck heater ......its like a neck pillow you put in the microwave to heat up and relax your neck. Fired that ontop of the phone fresh out the microwave for a few mins, then started at the corner with the stanly like blade, inserted only slightly and ran it around, defo easier to damage it that way but i took my time, i see alot of people using a card, or plastic sheet to go around to undo the glue.

The hard part was the cleaning, the backs on mine arent 100 percent flush, the p30 pro is much much better than the p30, just make sure u clean all, and i mean all the old crap off, i used surgical spirits and took me a good bit of time, really helps with it going on flat, after that fire the glue around the edge (which there is actually a ridge for, so its pretty easy), just try not to stop, its like a culk gun, stop and you get a nice clump that is for sure coming out the sides when you fire it back together, use enough glue at the corners (more than the sides), and then hold in place, glue bonds in a few mins then leave for 7 hours or so to cure.

I actually fired a few heavy books ontop of the p30 pro as i kept getting a corner lifting... dont know if i missed something cleaning, or maybe the frame was a little wonky because it had been ran over. But 24 hours late. Looks pretty good, can try take some pics later for you if you want.

All in tho, the glue was £3, a back was £9, surgical spirits £5. Stanley blade, or a playing card, about half-hour or so of your time and i imagine it wouldnt be half bad :), and you learn something.

Bid on and won a Foxconn Black Ops x48 (skt775) MB boxed with all of the key original accessories (missing the fans).

Fixed a couple of bent pins and it booted first time.

As far as I'm concerned none of us are middle-aged just yet Nexxo, it's too early.

    :)

At least game developers have the ability to imagine something and then create what they imagined, yes, I know, within the confines of a game. But hey, everything we see around us began as an imagination.

    Robins are amazing.

When I was taking my ex's S&M dungeon apart (no jokes) in one of her out buildings I had one that would fly in and keep me company. I guess the wee fella never knew he was sat on a rack of strap ons.

When I was a kid we had a robin called "spike" that came back into our garden for several years. He had a approx. 2cm long chunk of wood sticking out of his neck. It looked like a cocktail stick sticking out at almost a right angle to his head.

His (or her) piercing never seemed to impact anything and they seemed to not even notice it.

Dell XPS M1710 won on eBay finally arrived. Turns it it has the maxed out 7950GTX….

Also had a spare 120GB SSD and 2x2GB DDR2 to chuck in from a cannibalised old family laptop so have nearly maxed it out without spending any extra. Only thing technically left is the CPU but the 1710 is quite limited on this thus the T7400 already in there is near the max it can take (I think that accolade goes to the T7600).

    Get in!!

Has the naming discussion been had? Because it seems criminal to show pictures of puppy based family members without also adding the name!

    Congratulations that pachyderm!

Hastings did my son proud with his first car, just about affordable premium and no black box.

We’re making a shortlist, though so far wifey and I have had a total of zero ideas.

Currently on the list courtesy of daughter:

    Milly
    Tilly
    Klee

Her registered/assigned name is Magdalene which I actually quite like, but it seems like it might get shortened to Maggie, which I don’t at all like.

Open to suggestions and ideas that aren’t Crysis :p

Haven't dared show the pic to my wife & daughter as they'd want one...
One pedigree cat is enough for the moment.
What is she other than part teddy bear?
