Following on, managed to get the salary bumped up a few grand, all in all really happy with it! I think I'm going to go for it, although super anxious about the change as I've been at my current place for 6 years!

£750 refund from Octopus Energy appeared in my bank account this morning. (I'd built up a huge amount of credit with them)

    Monthly bills, BE PAID EARLY!!!

    Some time ago I posted this;
Well, it looks like I'm going to live.

The consultant told me today that biopsy found no signs of cancer. MRI showed no suspicious lesions; it did find that my benign prostate hyperplasia has grown --considerably-- from 110cc to 186cc, which in itself can account for the PSA rise (this is unusual in men my age, but has been known to happen. On the upside, very large prostates are associated with decreased cancer risk). The MDT and he are confident that there is a less than 10% chance of cancer hiding somewhere. So the plan is to monitor PSA levels for a while and consider a more extensive biopsy if necessary.

Tonight, I am going to get so, so drunk.

Nexxo news and I'm settling into Corsair well. I'm starting to get used to the different ways of doing things compared to the small team here and I'm meeting new people that want us to go in the same direction.

Marvelous! I'm heading to The Actors today and will raise one for you.

Bit of continuation to my previous post. This is the bunch of paperwork you'll get.

As an oddity, I'm off the Tavistock GIC waiting list list with a guaranteed pathway forward even if T+ folds some day. My GP (who is trans himself) will continue to monitor and prescribe AND anyone who's on T+ gets pushed years ahead in the GIC queue. Me likey.

@Nexxo that is great news indeed, and a HUGE relief for you and your family.
Thank for letting us know, I was only thinking about you a couple of days ago, and wondered how you were doing.

It is a great relief. One of the most worrying things was the "PSA velocity" --the rate of increase over time-- which in prostate cancer would predict a very poor outcome. However the increase in prostate volume completely accounts for that, and PSA density (PSA level divided by prostate volume) has in fact been stable at a safe level of below 0.08 over time.

@Nexxo As I've not been about I had no idea so, in brief,
1 Sorry to hear about the awful news
2 Fantastic to hear about the latest news.

That should cover it. Seriously, it's great to hear you've been given the all clear.

The relief will be immeasurable I'm sure.

    Awesome news, Nexxo.

The better half has okayed a massive upgrade for my CAD machine. Whenever the money hits, I can get back to a proper 2p system.
