Mum's cancer hasn't spread anywhere. At all. So they are going to do the op to remove her womb, which should fix all of her other issues.

Managed to get a tree base, so the tree is erect. Even has snazzy wheels on.

A buddy and I decided the right thing to do was to get our own axes afterwards, so now we can get wrecked and throw axes any time we want.

If my garden wasn't enclosed on all sides by other people's gardens then I'd have done exactly the same thing myself.

Yeah, sounds like all the fun, except for the fact that our garden backs onto a primary school. Not sure that it would go down too well if I went round and knocked on their door "excuse me Miss, can I have me axe back?"

Finally replaced the pull-cord switch for the extractor fan in the bathroom. It's a really minor thing but that's been on the 'to-do' list for well over a year.

Even though we rent and it should be the landlord's responsibility, I end up doing pretty much all of the minor repairs around the house. Otherwise it basically never gets done... Next up is the flush on the toilet downstairs. That one will be a pig: it's a close-coupled cistern, meaning I have to take the entire cistern off in order to replace the flush.

I know close-coupled looks neat but, high-level cisterns flush so much better. No flushing 3 times to get rid of a good dump...

A good dump means you need to break out the poo knife.

Will be wrapping up every piece of current work prior to the Christmas break, nothing to think or worry about over the holidays and I can start January completely fresh. Find it really hard to switch off from work lately and relax so having no work to focus on is going to be a huge help!

Also, this will be the year I finally clear my remaining personal debt. Its been just over 4 years since I started to address it realistically and realised what a massive hole I was in. I'm still in monetary terms a while of so its hard to feel super positive about it, I've been hammering away for the past 18 months or so. If I continue on the same trajectory autumn 2022 will be a really good one. Its really taken its toll over the years, and to be a stress of my own making makes it so much worse. Constantly beating myself up about it, can't wait to pivot from large amounts of debt repayment to large amounts of savings!

    Response?

Tarun has those (A British Audiophile) and nothing yet has made him switch.

    Response 1SC.

I don’t know who that is, but I’m much the same and have had these since forever. I spanked my first pay from my first real job (2005) on this hi-fi, like any self-respecting new adult should.

The combo with the Pathos amp is quite sublime. If starting from scratch I’d probably be tempted to opt for Dynaudio Special Forty because different, but I’m not, so I haven’t.

Getting to the stage of being debt free is chuffing brilliant.
But don't sweat it, don't beat yourself up, don't let it bring you down. You know you're in debt but if it's manageable it's not so bad, and as you're taking steps to sort it just go with the flow until it's all done

It can be made safe and it has. Take your *****-purse and stow it in a locker before entry.

Congrats, don't beat yourself up - you can see the brow of the hill now.

Think of the fact you took control and will have it sorted before you know it - not many people do that.

I thought I was innocent of all Unicorn charges? There is a server out there that just says F*** Y** on it, and it's devoted to me.
