With only a few days to go to uni starts again i get to enjoy my last few days at home in the company of these guys

Got them yesterday afternoon, 4 months old and called Theo (L) and Oliver (R).

So far he has been delightful, not sure if there is evil within yet.

He has been very playful with the toy mouse we got so there may be evil within his inner hunter.
Theo has been causing a little trouble as our other cat that we have had for a while isnt too comfortable with them just yet and he keeps running into her.

All cats have an evil side, it's how they choose to show it that defines them.

However, they're so damn cute and awesome that regardless of how evil they are I'll still regard them far more highly than dogs.

We have two, Pickle is a little monster and goes absolutely potty sometimes by running 'round the house like the floor's on fire, he's also fairly scratchy. The other, Toffee is a ginger ball of cuteness who is the most laid back cat I've ever dealt with. Literally nothing annoys/scares him and he perpetually brightens my day whenever he wanders into the same room.

TL;DR. Cats are awesome.

 

annnnnnnnnnd my weekend has started! counseling appointment tomorrow morning, then on saturday I pick up my girl and spend then day/evening/night with her here and then church on sunday morning.

weekends are great!






ALSO! I am starting to learn SolidWorks at my job. Finally after all this time I'm going to be doing something fun!

Not only that, but he bought the highest spec'd system that I designed. An awesome end to a great productive day for me! The most awesome part of this for me is that it's my first scratch build of the year! Bring on the aluminium

 

I haz a date in 35 min. Even if I make a complete mess of it, I'm happy because... well, I just am

 

Client meeting I had last night was OKish...
They ahve a flash site they want me to change on. So I look at the files, and first thing I notice: .SWF only. They don't have the .FLA files.
Turns out they BOUGHT the site, it reads files and some content from certain directories,a nd that's about it. They paid 60USD for it. If they ahd wanted ALL the files, they would have had to pay 800USD for it.
So I am looking into either ripping the .swf apart (anyone care to recommend a good tool for this (MAC only)? Is this even legal?) and modifying it, or proposing a rebuild of the site for them.

The good news in that: They're pretty stuffed without the changes. Sponsors, etc.
that means they need something quick, and it means I get to submit two proposals as to what I can do for them, and they're pretty much forced to use one.

Got on the scale today and saw that since last Sunday I am down 7 pounds

I'm getting a ridiculous amount of freelance work over the last couple of weeks. I may have to put prices up to keep the rif raf out. lol.
