I have three things to add, 'ere: for the creative, an open-source Teletext editor.

For the nostalgic, The Teletext Museum.

For the even more nostalgic, the better The Teletext Archive, which is legit interactive. And yes, it has Bamboozle!. (It also has decoding errors at times, so if you see a "j" in an unexpected place it's almost certainly supposed to be an "e".)

Speaking of old-new things, I just upgraded to the latest DOSBox Staging...

...and it's fixed 3dfx emulation. There's Tomb Raider, in all its smooth 3D-accelerated 4MB-of-VRAM glory. Huzzah!

The new version also has network emulation, which is new and exciting. Wonder if I can get WFWG online with it?

    Double-post, and I don't even care 'cos:

    wfwg.jpg

...this is awesome. That's Internet Explorer 2.10, running in Windows for Workgroups... in DOSBox. Full TCP networking, DNS resolution, the works.

Gonna stick Netscape on there next.

    EDIT:
And a little proxy magic later...

    EDIT EDIT:

    Okay, last one:

Good to see you, old friend!

Pretty much the only browser that has zero traces of Chromium: Firefox.

Yes there’s also Safari, but using that on anything other than a Mac or an iDevice just feels wrong. And besides, I still use Firefox on my work MacBook.

Chromium is “open source” in name only. It’s still Google’s project and they still have the final word on what goes in.

Apparently when we moved and closed the old house's energy account, So Energy didn't quite refund everything: just had a surprise £180 land, which is good timing 'cos I also just paid £160 for a blackout blind in the bedroom.

Running full throttle with an idea, domain registered, Shopify store in motion. Talking with manufacturers and playing around with designs.

Best case, it becomes something, worse case it’s absolutely F all. But I’ve tried and learned some CSS in the process…

I found the "missing" wireless dongle for my new keyboard. :D

What I thought was an just oddly-shaped extra keycap (so I left it in the baggie), turned out to be a normally-shaped extra keycap except for a slot for the wireless dongle, that the dongle was already fitted into. :duh:
