Not only does the disk still work... but Jean remembers Ceri!

Someone tipped me a bottle of nice wine, I don’t even drink alcohol but with how things are going lately, I might start for the first time in about 15 years, things aren't necessary going bad either, just lots all happening at once.

And now available to all, after I finished scanning the documents and uploaded everything to the Internet Archive. Should run in any Archimedes emulator (I use Arculator 'cos it's simple, like me) or on a Raspberry Pi running RISC OS Open if you've got the patch for 26-bit software installed.

Same to you Tre and everyone else.

I'm looking at snow in the dark while waiting for the Christmas meal. It'll be all done and dusted by the end of today

Unfortunately not actually snowing yet, maybe in a few days then I'll be a happy bunny.

"The original release for the Research Machines 380Z was text-only"

My first ever introduction to computers was with the 380Z, I remember a dialup connection through Oxford Uni to a class room in the states one afternoon, chatting to them, at the time was very cool
Never heard of of this tough, to be honest we weren't allow to play games and the like back then :(

I had a 380Z of my very own, but it had to go when I downsized the office - as you can imagine. Not exactly small things, those!

Off to the Czech mountains (well, high hills about 1100-1200m) for a week. Almost no people, beautiful landscape, tons of hiking routes, good food, good beer, my wife, hopefully no other Germans around, no new year's fireworks, ... I'll be in happy land.

It certainly does, congratulations on gaining your first teenager!

My youngest turned 20 this year, and my son tuned 24 on Monday, so I now have both kids in their 20s, that does make you feel old..,

    Birthdays near Christmas, tricky stuff.

29th Dec? I have at least 3 friends with birthdays today, I must message my ex manager.

The other one was born on the 10th of January, so this is a bit of an expensive time of year!

I have no kids of my own but, have known my wife’s youngest granddaughter since she was only just about walking.

    Now she is 24…

A good friend of mine has three kids, aged 8, 14 and 16... All of their birthdays are in December.

No, but the telly was also a bit crap in May and December, apparently.
