Moving in together with my primary partner on saturday. Place is already partially RGB unicorn vomit, I'm turning it into explosive RGB unicorn diarrhea hell

That reminds me of the time we had a neon light in our student flat, after having it on for a while it would mess up your colour perception and if you looked out the window it felt like you were on drugs.

I suspect drugs were to blame, not the light. But a nice & safe story to tell your grandkids.

I didn't know if promoting it here or linking it would be allowed - once the Amazon link goes live - I'll post it up :)

According to techpowerup moving from my GTX1080 to RX9070 will see an increase of 281% in relative performance.

The upside to not buying very often and hanging back a few years on the pc game releases

This only just occurred to me but this is the first NEW Radeon card I've owned since I bought the Gainward HD 4770 Golden Sample. Notice I said Radeon and not AMD, because it was still ATI back then. 16 years ago? Damn!

Also, I'm racking my brain but I think this is only the second AMD/ATI card since the HD 4770 outright - I bought a used RX480 (or was it a 580?) for my son. Not counting APUs - had a few of those.

Pretty much, a staunch Nvidia customer. That's how hard team green have screwed the pooch.

Got a cheap backup RX570 a while back, a RX580 nitro some time ago.

Didn't have that for long and was going on holiday so, as it was crypto time, put it on eBay for silly money and it blummin went - that got me a free upgrade to the GTX1080 when I came back.

Mixed and matched between green and (pre)red over the years.
