I have a daughter now - she was 1 last month. What an adventure parenting is - don't know why I left it until I was an old man.

yeah I'm already so aware of this - my daughter is a real bright spark, she started walking at 10 months old and now at 13 months old is climbing and running and frustrated at not being able to talk and doing pretty well at sign language - but, I no longer have a tiny baby to hold. I already miss that tiny baby!

 

Been deputising (paid) for just over a month—initially a 3-month agreement, but it's gone better than expected. Output's strong, motivation's high, and feedback’s all positive. ‘Boss man’ mentioned at the very least extending it, but should I decide to apply there might be a shot at making it permanent. Wasn’t chasing that, just stepped in to help with pay for the ball ache. Not getting my hopes up, but permanent pay would be a real boost now we’re close to achieving our mortgage deposit

Would be only king size pot noodles and double mars bars from that point on.
