Popped to the skip this morning to get rid of some crap that had been lying around in the shed for years, plus stopped in at the garage on the way home to book a service.

And that's my adulting done for the weekend.

Whilst there, I checked my state pension forecast and, it's already as high as it can go, so no need to worry about that in 5½ years. Given my employment record, hampered by my long term mental health problems, that is definitely awesome.

 

Lol, Lemmings - there's a memory

 

I see lemmings on a regular basis - every time I drive around Newport town centre. Blindly stepping off the pavement, headphones on, phone in one, ****ing monstrous Stanley cup in the other. I dunno, maybe they've vaguely heard of Darwin awards and they think it's the newest TikTok craze.

 

I've been closely following the activities of a band my daughter has been completely fanatical about and have secured a spot at a meet & greet, signing and what should be a fairly close-quarters performance in a few weeks for their upcoming album release.

Absolute meltdown (in the best possible way) when I told her.

Feels good.
