You are wrong.”. A later post (more instagram link warning) says that “an announcement is coming on Sunday 15th March”.

Yeah, he will be missed but I have no issue if they try to retcon it, Alan is a good level of famous, it'd be worth it.

Yeah, after doing some more digging, it does look like there is some leg pulling going on here. I have been watching the little short videos with Nathan going to the other cast members, hence my excitement of seeing something that looked a good bit "official".

As you said, please don't get our hopes up only for it to be something like "hey, we're all getting together at xyz con" or it just being a build up to a cast podcast. I would like to hope that the cast know what this sort of thing potentially means to a LOT of people and that they wouldn't just pull it from under us like that....

But we shall see...

Thought I’d just update this… So slept at her place 4 days last week then from Sunday to Friday this week. The only reason I’m not there is because it’s my kids weekend

Just realised it’s been just over a month now since we’ve met and things are going fantastic.

 

Not sure why I should be surprised by this but seeing 1500+ FPS in Handbrake when using Nvenc (AV1) transcoding (from ISO) some more DVD's (In this case some Are You Being Served?) makes me chuckle.

It did the first season faster than I was able to set up said first season in the queue...

 

We’re picking up a pup on Friday. This isn’t just an “aww puppy” kind of thing. If I’d been a single guy, I would have gone for a rescue, I know there’s dogs needing homes and I feel guilty adding to that problem. But my son has always wanted a spaniel for an unknown reason, and given their traits, especially when considering some of the behavioural issues that could come with rescue dogs. It just wasn’t going to be an option.

Then a litter of pups came up locally from a very much respected breeder and everything fell into place. We’re all unbelievably excited. Personally, I think I need this dog as much as he’ll need me… when he’s full acquainted and joints suitably developed I have oodles of long adventures planned.

 

Just applied a screen protector perfectly first time.

That's it, I can retire now.

 

Spaniels are lovely but they need a lot of exercise and things to keep them busy.

Never had one but known a few. Lovely but mental things.

Exactly this. Again, never had one personally (wife is allergic to dogs sadly) but known quite a few. One in particular is the one that I always think of when someone mentions a spaniel, my friend realised very quickly that giving Buster something to do, and something that he was good at doing (gundog retrieving training) and making sure that he knew that he was doing a good job that pleased my friend was the key for him. Very quickly Buster would continually look for approval when he realised that he was doing a good job and would do anything to please his boss.

 

Yep, definitely conscious of what could happen with a spaniel who is not sufficiently mentally and physically stimulated!

Really keen to get the training, stimulation and exercise really nailed down so we end up with a very good boy which I'm sure he will be.

 

create a routine and stick to it ... not a owner of a spaniel but do have a jack Russel terrorist and a mix of (pitbull / frenchie / jack russel) and i cant tell you routine..... makes you not go insane xD and if you're lucky and they are food motivated training is a breeze

 

nathan fillion on Instagram had done a short with all the cast of Firefly and its either going to be a reunion or remake or something all it hints as it's it's about time and it's finally happening.
