If only it was easy to install custom firmware on the PSP... For educational & informational purposes only, of course, I couldn't possibly speculate as to what other kind of uses it might have...

    *cough*

Sorry... Terribly rough chest I've had lately...

In all seriousness, it's actually a pretty good idea to avoid using the UMD drive as much as possible. It might be working fine now, but either the mechanical parts or the laser will eventually wear out; spare parts and spare drives are going to get pretty thin on the ground, if they aren't already. You can get Memory Stick to MicroSD card adapters to greatly expand the internal storage.

    Yeah but nah.
These came to me at no cost and even though one may be worth a few quid (pre-production test sample with funky serial number) I can't ever sell it or pass it on so once it dies it dies for good.

Spent a lot of time playing the Wipeout games on the train in my student days on a PSP I bought on launch. Ended up being a great investment at the time.

I refrained from buying a PSP Vita back in the day, which I regret now (and I don't want a second hand one). I probably wouldn't have spent a lot of time on it as I had a car when it came out.

I meant so that you can keep using it as long as possible, not to preserve its value or sell it on

Appreciate it, but it doesn't sit right with me.
Besides I'll probably get bored of it in a month and throw in a drawer for another 10 years

And this afternoon, I was singed off by the depot manager as a Commercial Guard.
All the work has paid off, The classroom, then going out and learning the routes and countless assessments and paperwork.

I'm working a shift tomorrow, then a three day break for my birthday. Still, very happy overall.

Cheers mate, yeah it's been a head frak for a couple of years.

A bit in shock tbh. No onward chain, we sold ages ago and the seller is a lovely bloke who is happy for us to text each other if the EA or solicitors do any of their usual shenanigans.

    Phew.

Obviously I won't be 100% settled until I'm in the house with all my very-important-things-ive-kept-but-i-have-no-idea-why around me

Don't forget to pack that one box labelled "stuff" that will sit untouched in the garage or loft until you move again.

Is it just supposed to be 1 box?... I may have messed up slightly.
