With the aid of a LUG gaming clan I'm part of, I now have a working Tobii ET5 eye tracker in Linux! :D
(To clarify, I already had the tracker. Tobii have consistently refused to provide linux drivers, so the LUG have rolled their own)

After getting my first open source contribution merged in Wagtail CMS I've also posted a blog post about it. I'm sure G will have an aneurism at my quality of writing, but it's only my second ever post.

    UPDATE:

For those who don't have the spoons to buy a Tobii, a standard webcam-using alternative called "Beam Eye Tracker" has recently published stable releases in both native Mac & Linux flavours

It is very good for TV consumption, to be honest I have OLED everywhere even my works screens despite risks.

I’m watching The Martian, from a local high-bitrate rip and not a stream…

So that’s what HDR is supposed to look like…

The intro to foundation is utterly mesmerising on a OLED and the live action Ghost In The Shell looks amacing, as do the Trons! A lot of disney stuff have Imax streaming versions too!

If you mean Dolby Vision, then I’ll have to keep waiting .

This Samsung model (S90F) doesn’t support Dolby Vision - even this year’s flagship Samsung OLED, the S95H, doesn’t support Dolby Vision. HDR10+, sure, but not Dolby Vision - I’m assuming there’s some licensing shenanigans going on.

Suddenly remembering Max Clifford, wondering what happened to him, and being reminded that he died in prison.

After much heal dragging finally got work to sort my ACT course (Certificate in Treasury). Will finally get some letters after my name, even though it's not the BSc, MSc, PhD I had intended :hehe:

Post nominals are fun. I would like a pre-nominal but sadly Engineer is not a protected title here in the UK. I have BEng afterwards which was always a big ambition.

One of my online acquaintances has GC... I don't think many of us are going to top that one...
