Finding the damage to the Fatal Optimization demo was fixable in about two days of coding, not twenty.

 

18 days after i sent my email i get this pop into my inbox

Providing that I am able to get this purchase through and that there's enough stock, I might upgrade from a MSI p67-GD55 to an AsRock Extreme 4 (eh, tradeoff a bit). For free. so whoo!

Got a job, albeit only 2.5 hours a week cleaning an architect's office(s). Still, £60 a month helps slow down the rot which is my bank account savings depletion. Just gotta chase up one or two other places and see if I can get something for ~20-30 hours a week too.

I'm going to move! And it went exactly as smoothly as it ever could. I've been living with a flatmate, but am going to end up with three mates a bit outside the center, so no neighbors to worry about, a yard to paint and work in, and also a huge sauna \o/

Yep, there is a good reason for that too. If a British fort was under attack / besieged, the forces inside could fly the flag upside down in order to signal distress to any friendly forces outside in order to get reinforcements or help. The enemy however wouldn't be able to spot the subtle difference ( diagonal red stripes offset to the wrong side ) so wouldn't know the British were signaling for help

Whole wheat toast in a bag. Not entirely sure what it is, or what it is mainly used for, but it was two dollars. I am apprehensive to open it, as I do not quite know if I can contain the awesome, but I promise to return once I have done so with a full report of just how much it has changed my life, altered my world-view, and just how far my taste buds got rocked out - maybe they'll make it to Mexico? Who knows! I guess we will see!
