I got an itemized bill for my gas and electricity usage in my apartment/flat.
I average $1/day electricity and $0.40/day gas usage(gas stove).

That's frugal enough for me.

I found out that the supermarket I go to has started to stock it. 2 types, the first is a little too vinegary for me unless I leave it open over night and let it dry a little more but the second is nothing short of awesome. Nice beef taste, just enough spice and even tastes creamy if you know what I mean.

Going to have a go at doing some of my own at some point, just need to make a bit more headway with the unpacking.

 

Are you/have you been to South Africa?
It's probably available over there as well by now, but it's just SUCH a south african thing... although Namibia has better Biltong (and meat, for that matter) than them any day of the week.

You can pick up a kilo of Biltong (Eland, Oryx, Beef, Springbock) for around 10-15 quid here...

 

Nah, never been further from the UK than Norway. Would be a great place to visit though even if it was just for the sight of my wife in constant giggles over the language (she's Dutch).

I wish we could get it for that price here, the packs I have found are about £2.50 for 85g...

Hence my wanting to make my own.

About a week ago my friend and I each bought cheap fake tattoo sleeves at 7-11, I took a picture of us wearing them and set it as my Facebook profile picture. Friends comment, have a good few laughs, life goes on.

Fast foward to today, my mom just called in a panic asking if I really got my whole arm tattoo'd and why I didn't say anything about it. Day = made.

 

Only found out because I was talking to a mate about who she'd swing the other way for!
