cut most of the wood for my bed, routed the corners, got the surfaces sanded and ready for polyurethane

finished putting polyurethane on my desk, at least I hope so.... the 3rd coat felt really smooth except for a few places, so I'm hoping that the 4th that I threw on tonight will fill in the rough spots

making a run over to the apartment tomorrow, dropping off a carload of stuff and hitting home depot for some corner moulding for the desk

 

Flying to Macau tomorrow morning for a 5 months stay XD

 

after being down for the past few weeks im starting to feel pretty good, love my new car, love my job, started meeting a few girls aswell, bank account is actually looking healthy for a change

 

Macau grows old quite quickly.

 

Got into my prefered uni got DDD (BND so its equiv of AAA at A level)

 

I am now the proud owner of an official Class B driving license, which allows me to drive automobiles with a maximum weight of 3.5t.

Three pounds of bacon. THREE. POUNDS. OF. BACON.

This is for a week. This is also doctor's orders. I had my calorie counts adjusted, they tell me eat MORE.

Also, steaks, cheeses, lots of bread, and bottled water. Soda is really not working. However, bottled water and those drink mix pouches=win. It's 5 more calories (against my recommended 6500...)

 

I just got a job as a university lecturer, teaching Music Technology/CompSci to undergrads.
Really daunting, but really exciting too. It's the career I've wanted for years.

Watching my way through the entire original series of teenage mutant ninja turtles. They say u should never return to you favourite childhood shows but it is still truly amazing.
On a lighter note James avery who plays uncle Phil in the fresh prince is the voice of shredder.
Wouldnt have noticed if I hadnt watched an episode of each back to back

 

I'm doing my first ever solo production drawings. It's a really small job but one none the less. It's three sets of bomb/blast proof doors being installed on a military base.


Also, school starts in 2 weeks

 

I was pissed off about my keyboard since a month, because my spacebar was always jammed. After 4 mail to Microsoft customer support, I finally Opened the damn thing and Fixed it myself !! I feel so FREEEEEE !

 

My workout routine is showing gains. Whoo!

 

I'm eating milk chocolate buttons. Hell yea.

 

Loads of factors, actually. Granted, the balance has to be there, so there's loads of issues as well... but - no point in getting bogged down with negative crap:

- "Project Hindenburg" is about to launch. Just some paperwork, and minor tweaks remain. This is a pet project that I've been working on for 6 months, which will hopefully have an impact on my wallet, my name as a web developer, and the general Namibian market.

- Sitting with a consultant about a retail store we (the missus and myself) want to open on Thursday.

- Long weekend coming up

- Increase and backpay coming in on Thursday

- Child of Eden coming in on Thursday (if the one store that stocks it still has it by Thursday)

- finally started jamming guitars again with some mates.

-finally started doing something physically again. It might only be 100 pushups and 200 situps program for now, but week 3 and showing gains.
