The fact i'm now unemployed means I can go out on the bike every day and the weather is gorgeous.

 

Newly washed car, double figure temperatures outside (well, almost...) and new summer tires.

Just cruising down the road with the windows open.

 

My boat is the second fastest in the state and will soon be known as one of the fastest in the SE region

Also sent off my Student loans application today.

I had an exam today on design patterns and other tons of crap and I think it went very well. I usually panic during those exams but this time it went very well. It was a great feeling to get out of there satisfied (for once). I might try to repeat this experience haha

 

im pwning in my programming group project. have 100% in the course so far and will probably get around 95% in the group project. we all grade each other and our groups for out marks. the reason ive not got full marks is that im too fast and advanced as programming and they cant keep up.


it made me really happy to hear my teacher say that and say how good i am at programming and that im a great group leader and would be the one he would hire from the class. im not trying to brag here... i dont get very many compliments and it really made me feel better when he told me that.

also i dropped off peer tutoring service claim yesterday as ive been tutoring a classmate in programming. a very easy $11/hr.

I finally collected an essay that got marked about a month ago. I wasn't happy with it when I handed it in which is why I took so long to pick it up, but when I did get around to picking it up I got a nice surprise!

Watched my 8 seat flip out in the boat when a 6in fish jumped out of the water and hit him in the back as we were rowing.

 

... The girl at the checkout in the grocery store that had the nicest, most genuine smile I have seen in ages.

 

seeing a beautiful smile can really make a crap day into an amazing day.

i need to take longer breaks during class.... im missing out.

 

went to a forest park yesterday with the family...lovely to spend quality time with the family even though the youngest spend most of it whinging..

Oh.. there is a beautiful girl at the local "Kiwi"-store,
she is beautiful in that "I want to get to know you, and after a while, maybe you will move to my place and in 40 years when we are old we will sit on the porch and think back on the great years we spent together" kind of way..
not the "My name is Aleksander, lets go to your place and fork" kind of way...

Problem is that now I shop for only one day at a time...
