Look at the bottom of the avatar box to the left of the post you wish to compliment.
There are 3 symbols, to the left is a dot showing if the poster is online now or not.
To the right is a triangle, to report an offensive or spammish posting.
You want the one in the middle that looks like someone holding a loaf of bread (it's supposed to be a trophy I think).
Click the middle symbol to add to that person's reputation.:thumb:

Had a job interview today for a kitchen porter position at a local training restaurant, seemed very positive as I was the only applicant so far who is local ( 20 minute walk at most, vs everyone else coming from over the river and/or miles away ) & I have previous experience. Find out next friday if I got through to the final 2 applicants and then we get a trial shift each to determine who gets the job.

30-35 hours a week, 3 days off & a share of the tips...

They kinda screwed up the long strike.... its a reverse plunger, so it's useless as a "sniper rifle", does look cool though.

I'll keep my alpha trooper with powerstock, vent hole filling, AR removal, and improved foregrip thanks, especially as I have slamfire :D

Heh, a friend owns one of those, absolutely amazing bits of kit. Sound amazing at full bore - if you get one make sure you have the overrun ecu program put on if it's not got it already (think it's the earlier models, the later ones won't pop and fizz in the same way apparently)

Same friend gave me a couple of bottles of wine for helping out with his house renovation today, very unexpected, put a smile on my face =)

Been at work all day - My Saturdays or Fridays or "Whatever day is game day" are fully dedicated to the GiantsLive.tv media team now, and there's a lot of work involved when the team is at full strength, even more when we're a little short handed like we were tonight. But everything went very well all things considered. I had one machine crash (once) all evening, and one that has been giving some trouble wouldn't start at all, but that's no big deal. I anticipated that and had a spare. The webcast went out on time, no play was missed, nothing mission critical crashed and the team principal and I got the go-ahead to install some new permanent equipment in the next few weeks to make our production easier and better in the future. Oh, and the Giants beat the Edinburgh Capitals 8-1 ;) All in all, a woefully tiring but worthwhile day :thumb:

Also have most of the "control end" production equipment home with me... Not sure I've ever had so much high end gear in my car before

    6x Laptops [est. value £2K]
2x Desktop workstations [Est. Value £3K]
2x 250m Multicore video/audio reels [est. value - I have no idea but they're expensive]
1x Sony Anycast Station live content producer [Valued at £15.5K]
1x Case assorted data/video/audio cables [est. value £1000]
4x Dell Gigabit switches [est. value £600]

And a bunch of small video preview monitors, extension reels, connectors and all the other gubbins involved in getting that all running... Needless to say I was a little concerned about leaving my car on the forecourt as I went in to pay for fuel earlier :eeek: The ridiculous thing is that with the exception of the Anycast Station, most of the really valueable gear is with the team principal - the cameras, tripods, video racks and vision mixers. I get to "play with" the Sony unit until Tuesday, then I have to give it back. Booo :p

I'll post some pr0n pics of the Anycast rig somewhere on here before I part with it.
