My ST170 arrived, and it's made me a very happy motorist.

Bought from GregtheRotter in the marketplace. I didn't find a Greek company and ask them to deliver to England :hehe:

Ah, I see - I thought you'd picked up on some bargainous retail deals as the Greek economy slowly circles the pan before disappearing down the U-bend...

What's making my life awesome is my airsoft parts arrived from Hong Kong and England, respectively. I am a happy bunny! Also covered in silicone oil.

So, three weeks ago on the M25 a lorry had one of its tyres blow out about half a mile down the road. It was dark, raining and the tyre was in the shadow of an overpass in an un-lit section of the road so I had no chance of seeing it or avoiding it in time, especially as a van was blocking my view as we approached it. Drove straight over the bloody thing and it ripped most of the front of my car off, smashed the air con radiator and a rear box heat shield and damaged the rear bumper on its way out. Not a happy bunny...

Anyway, in the morning I got a call from Eddie Stobart (it was one of their lorries) who offered to repair it free of charge!!! No insurance excess or anything! They collected mine a couple of days later and even hooked me up with a courtesy car for the duration. Finally got it back today and they've done an amazing job - apparently the repair bill was circa £2,500! Going from a 1.2 Fiesta to the T Sport was pretty interesting too!

Really cool of Stobarts to do all that for you- they come across as very professional on their TV series so I guess it figures :)

I have a blackwater iwagumi setup as well as a great little nano growing a nice ground cover.

It's great to be back into aquaculture. I sure hope the lighting on my nano is good enough to propagate this hair algae, though I know the type location it was harvested from. Did the harvesting myself.

Oh, I'd have been so pissed off if that happened me on the motorway! Absolutely awesome that Stobart sorted it out for you, and even better that it was a good job! Was the lorry that had the blowout pulled over on the roadside when it happened?

That's a mk7 or usually referred to as generation 7 :) The mk2 was the A40 model from the late 70's - I almost bought one as a project car when I was 18. I decided against it at the time because it was too far gone and I had nowhere to work on it - my workshop and the garage were full to the ceiling with moving boxes and furniture!

I've, finally, hit the point where I have way too much stuff to be buying any more in the near future. I reckon, if I painted 12/7 for the rest of the year I'd still get only 80% of what I've got to do done.

Besides which, my FW account is only on around 1800 of stuff, not including the stuff I've bought from them in a slightly less direct manner, though..

The titan is having to wait until I've finished the AoP board (Edict passed down by the lady..) >.>

Yeah the lorry was next to the tyre so I managed to pull over two lanes with the underside of the car hanging off and scraping on the ground.... Exchanged details - there were about three other cars involved too.

Yeah tis a Gen7. I still see Gen 5's on the road on occasion. Gen 6's are built amazingly well so still loads of those around too - I'd still have one if it wasn't written off in 2010.
