Other What currently makes your life awesome?

Just received my BenQ G2220HD monitor, and it seems to work great. Since it's tomorrow that I'll be getting my PC components (is my first build, yay!), I hooked the monitor up to my laptop to test it.

At first it seemed to have a bit of flicker (which made me a little worried), although I Googled and found out it's due to a 'ground loop' - removing the laptops' power cable (as a test) stopped the flicker, so I'm glad since the monitor seems to be working 100% fine.

Yeah well I cannot even remember the last time I went out with a group of friends. Well, besides last weekend. But before that I'm not even sure if I have in the past 3 years.
I don't think I have in the past 6 years even!

 

that makes it more special.

 

Well I can say that since college ended my life has gotten much better.

I have done a number of things for the first time ever in the past week or two.

-Got a good job ($13/hr )
-Gone/going out with a group of people which included girls (last Sunday and this Friday)
-I drove in the capital city all by myself (last Saturday and this Friday)
-I drove across the Canada/US border all by myself (today)

 

Spent another awesome night with the girl I really like.

Wished I didn't have to leave rather than just staying in bed.

Oh, and the fact that, despite work still being utterly dogshite, i'm managing to knock large chunks off my recession debt. I reckon by the end of summer i'll be in the black.... Providing things dont go to pot again of course.

Oh and finally, i'm really starting to notice the positive effects of hitting the gym 3-4 times a week (which i'm absolutely loving atm). I'm looking buff, i'm able to do an entire days graft, cycle to the gym, pump it out, cycle back and still feel like I got energy to burn and confidence with the ladies has risen exponentially.

 

Alice in Chains concert followed by Rammstein tonight. It's hot and sunny, beers will be had! Life is good.

 

Seeing both AC/DC and RATM play in same festival weekend.

 

Yes... I Do hate both of you.
Besides that, I got asked to submit a proposal for a website for one of the two big cellular providers in the country... I reckon that's pretty awesome

Finished with high school academics, just graduation rehearsal and graduation to go

My godawful English class at college is almost over as well, which will be awesome.

My 4 year anniversary is coming up on Monday

Got an awesome camping trip coming up with a bunch of my friends week after graduation

My leave of absence for work went through, so I don't have to work a job that I hate with a burning passion all summer

 

I have a feeling someone likes me.

 

Finally watching Pans Labyrinth. I've had that movie on Blu-Ray for ages, and just decied to watch it. Epic film.

 

Got a couple of tests to do for a job on Thursday, so I more then likely have a job

Possibly getting my moms car, and getting her a new one

Done with my pre-calc class (dont know if I passed or not though)

When guys see a hot girl, that's enough for us to already like her, but looking good isn't anywhere near enough for a girl.

OK, here's an example

When a girl sees you, and tells you that you are attractive, but then you don't say a word to her, and nothing happens... well you didn't give her much reason to get excited now have you? It's like if you don't turn the pc on, nothing happens.

If you see a girl, have a little conversation with her, which prooves yourself confident, interesting, funny, exciting, etc, and she either gives you her number or email or invites you to come along with her to the movies or minigolf, or she tells you how she likes having one night stands, etc, then all these hot girls like you so far - well I guess in the latter case, it might be more accurate to say, that she likes the idea of getting abused by your man meat

as for what makes my life awesome?

Well on Thursday I go to see the optometrist for an appointment to see if I can get lazer surgery on my eyes! YAY!

ALSO.... today I went to the shooting range in town, with my dad, to do some practice. I shot the best I've ever done. If I shoot like I did today, at the Canadian Nationals, I will break the national record. My score today was 595 out of 600. The national record is 594.

 

How you say?

Maybe it's because I've been talking quite alot to her, and she always smiles at me. Just reading them a bit.

Not only that but, let's just say almost every topic is open between me and her..
