    Quite embarrassing but sod it:

    My excessive sweating has ceased.
Playing video games, driving, any form of concentration no longer results in a monsoon under my arms.
This stuff is amazing and has made a massive difference.

Edit: And it's only 3 weeks until Swedish House Mafia in Milton Keynes.

:hehe: It was only a matter of time. I thought Gunny and Uni might be happy though!

Glad you found it useful mate. I don't think treating perspiration is embarrassing personally - everyone sweats when it's hot and having great big pit-patches that stink of onions is far more embarrassing than using a proper anti-perspirant :thumb:

I'd like to think that our candid honesty will help many others, too quiet and timid to admit to the world "I'm a sweaty, stinking mess."

I will, however, draw the line at discussing haemorrhoid treatments even in the general section of this particular forum

Anyway - making my life awesome right now: It looks like I will finally be upgrading from 384kb/s to 1Meg at home.... 1 meg is really fast for Namibia...

after a day of rearranging looks like i have enough room for everything, could really do with some speaker stands for the monitor speakers which i have managed to make room for.

Atm without them i would have to go back to one monitor in order to fit them comfortably which will be a little hard to get used to

We're successfully getting through all the junk in our house in preparation for our new one. You have no idea how big a success this is to me. We're building new for wheelchair accessibility as well as for space (as we currently have none,) but we're also going to have a lot of fun with making a house that heats and cools itself as well as recreates a lot of the themes from LOTR.

Why not, it's our house and we're not paying anyone to do it. Just means I'm slow.

I'm going to put up a project log for it, probably here in General. It's a way for me to remind myself I'm still not useless. It's pretty slow going though, guys. I'm not able to work every day and I can't always work much when I can.

Jeez. I try not to judgmental, and choices such as these are certainly personal, but I really can't see anything good coming from raising a kid at 20. My own mum was married and had me and my sister when she was very young (married at 19, sister at 20, me at 21).

That I don't get along very well with her is another story. The real issue is that she's had no "real life" before she started a family. It was school, college, husbad, kids -> fulltime mother means life is effectively over. She's totally nutso (not in a cute, "I'm Betty White and I swear a lot" way) and is completely clueless about how to deal with her two 20-something year old kids because by that time in her own life, she was married and preggers. She doesn't understand our lives because she's never lived it (most of her friends married young too, so she doesn't even have second-hand perspective).

On the plus side, she wasn't a working mum, so she was able to properly raise is through childhood, but I can imagine what a charlie-foxtrot it would have been if she'd worked even half the hours that dad did.

I don't know why I typed all that but it seemed kind of relevant.

My sisters friend has a nearly 4 year old daughter and she JUST turned 20 the other day

She is a complete idiot, she speaks to people like their six most of the time, she is possibly the most ignorant person i have ever spoken to in my life.

It may sound slightly arrogant of me but when someone argues that "afghanistan is a small town in yorkshire" you want to kill her, and she raises a kid! who happens to be a complete brat at that.
Her father died of cancer and so the money she got she used to spend on designer crap and getting hammered every week so her kid could have anything she wanted, now the money is dryed up she is a complete arse to be around.

She is the girl that goes out for a drink and claims she is "COMPLETELY WASTED" at 9pm and one glass of wine, then begins to scream loudly and embarass herself and others.

I also don't know why i typed all that....

I'd have to argue that the cause was not the alcohol..

I'm inclined to agree. Alcohol defintiively contributes, but there's much more than that.

What's making my life awesome? A few hilarious birthday gags for a few friends and slowly garnering a method for achieving inner peace. Life isn't so bad with a dash of perspective. :)

Also hunting for mechanical keyboards and cheap GPUs is occupying my time.

With Quidco and William Hill and Paddy Power I've made about £150. Not too shabby.

    Productive day

Other speaker arrived organised crap music i made to good music worked out about 183/2 :D

Started another project and its turning out pretty good, easier to mix and master with these monitors, just need the stands and they will be in perfect position and everything will fit fine.

Just found a better ISP than what we had, that uses the same carrier's network but offers double the cap. Also, all US live support and the best answers I've ever seen.

And best of all, we can send in the old hotspot for a credit on the cell phone bill.
