A week today I will be sat in Gamerbase London, with some.good friends playing games and recovering from a hangover.

Getting ready for more drinks and also Eurogamer.

Oh and I just ordered a new headset.

Got most of the re-wiring done for the new halogen lights for the Spitfire, and polished up a lot of things with wire wool!

Also seeing a few friends this evening and going to see The Boy With Tape On His Face. *grin*

    Awesome typo is awesome! :D

Not working weekends any more is making my life pretty good at the moment, it's nice to be able to finish work on Friday and actually be done for the weekend. I used to have to cram everything into a Sunday but now I can just relax and enjoy the time off for what it is :)

Edit: Oh, and I finally re-wired my ChuMoy so it's working properly again! No more annoying fuzz drowning out the bass :D

A good thing to say about work!

My back feels great after a hard days work, been suffering since coming back from my holiday i had access to the open waters to swim everyday/

When i came back i stiffened up and ached, working has fixed that it seems!

Just went out for a few drinks with some mates seems to be a pretty usuall thing now which is really awesome.

After having a nightmare putting in a H80 that did not work I have installed a H100 with much better results and quite happy with it. This week I get a tablet for myself as well as getting my first ever apple product but its only a Ipod touch for my music.

Despite a rather cruddy situation to get to this end result, the end result is pretty sweet.

I ought to be going into December with around £5-6k in my current account alone, I think it might be time to start saving for a mortgage!

Just heard an Akai 1721L Reel-To-Reel unit for the first time in my life.

Given the age of the item, the age of the tapes & the music (clasical indian) recorded by my father, its some of the most amazing listening expeirance of my life.

Was gonna sell it on fleabay as its worth alot but decided to keep it.

Well, last night was insane. Got into a car accident (I was a passenger), thought we were running late for the main show, drove there with my car anyways.

And then we found out they didn't perform yet. Oh the joy. The concert was brilliant, Mos Def and Talib Kweli have just an insane amount of stage presence. I'll have to say, despite me having a test on Monday, that was honestly one of the best nights I've had even though the beginning was absolutely horrible.

My dog Newton is back from his "holiday" with friends who looked after him for nearly a month while I was in hospital and recuperating at home for a bit. Sat and watched my daughter play with him for almost an hour - giving him cuddles and kisses and nice ear scratches, then he jumped on the sofa and fell asleep on me while my daughter wrapped my wife in a big cosy blanket we keep on the back of the other sofa and just had an overwhelming sense of everything being right with my little world and how much I love them all :D:D

Unfortunately the momentary bliss was shattered when a very tired little girl fell over her slightly too large sleepsuit and smashed her lip into her book box and gave herself a rather fetching split lip :wallbash:

Luckily this matches the large cut above her left eyebrow she got last week when she slid on the wooden floor into the back of a large and unyielding oak dining chair and had to be glued back together at the local A&E department :sigh:

still - life IS awesome, survived major heart surgery (having dodged the bullets from Bacterial Endocarditis 5 years ago and from the Aortic Aneurysm sometime in the last year) so now the rest of my life can begin again without the worries I've carried for 5 years.:clap:

I have been kicking ass all day! Since 6 this morning I've been more productive than I was any day last week. I've fixed phones, laptops, projectors and even an Iron so far today! I'm not done yet, either. Once I finish this coffee, I'm off to get elbow deep in a network cabinet and do some rewiring :D

Super productive day - feels good man :) :thumb:

Also picked up my £250 free book token to go along with the £50 i still have on the previous one! i wish i was more into reading to make use of these but they're going to buy all reference books for my courses so i have everything at hand when it comes to assignment time and exams.
