My bus was late, but got a lift from my parents, at work on time. Two days off. And all three cute girls are in tonight.

Pushing myself out there a bit more, pretty much since mid december i have gone balls to the wall and no longer care what people think.

Just grabbing any oppurtunity i get, leading my life the way i want to rather than the way im expected to. Doing stuff i want to do rather than avoiding it because im worried what people will think, not being embarrased that im attracted to someone like its something unusual. the next step is to openly ask this girl out and not shrug of when people say "Do you like her?" if she says yes great! if not **** happens.

Simply because im never going to achieve anything sitting in the back seat like i have been.

It basically got to the point i was 24/7 depressed about everything going on in my life

Its been going pretty well so far and i already feel dramatically better for it

Gratz dude I have spent so much time standing back and not making moves that I have lost out.

i found out that a crush of mine from many years ago, fancied me but she also held back.

Too late now she's happy, engaged and has a kid with get partner. So gutted when I found out she fancied me back then.

Oh well time to buck up might just ask this girl out and see what happens.

No idea what's she into or anything so might be good to get to know each other over coffee or something.

Great advice Dom, my current girlfriend had to approach me...She gave out all these signals for a couple of years since I've been working at the College that she liked me, and I looked at her continually and thought 'Shes stunning, you have no chance'

She picked me out of a crowd and would come speak to me, flustered a little bit when I caught her off guard and started speaking to her, she even got angry when this woman she worked with started talking to me and kept on interupting her...

It took her to email me and ask me out to the cinema's (Crappy first date, I know...) But afterwards we sat in her car till 3am in the morning from 11pm just talking...

All this has taught me though, take that risk...Bite the bullet, and just do it. Yeah you may regret it if it ends badly, but hell....Life is life, life is how you treat it....I treated life just plain average and took it as each day passed by....

I babble on too much, to conclude it all...Just bite the bullet and ask that God damn girl out! :)

My friend we talked about you and your girlfriend sometime ago, even with a bit of TMI ;) I am just going to bite the bullet and ask one of them out. The one I am pretty sure is interested in me. Cinema I think is the point of call.

I rarely drink now, so going to the pub is out of the question, will get sozzled and make a prat of myself.

We did talk Dom..Shes a woman who plays her cards very close to her chest, so I know her feelings...Just haven't heard her say them direct to me..

Just do it Dom, honestly...Or just live regretting never making that choice..Get talking to her and take it from there :)

I adopted a 'feet first' attitude to women in my early twenties. Some of them didn't work out. Some worked out for a short time :naughty:, some for a little longer :hip:, and the best one of the lot actually married me. Dafuq?

I did learn one thing though - so what if they said no? Didn't stop me going for the next one!!

I would advise against the cinima for a first date! You have to break the ice before the film, sit in silence for 2 hours and then do it all over again!!

I would pick something like...ice skating? Or a hidden gem is the sea life centre and coffee/ lunch!!

Just my opinion, your results may differ :)

Book a day skydiving or base jumping and hope that she is an adrenaline junkie.

I did the bedroom with my wife when I met her... Was the most fun I've had..

We already knew each other very well from chatting online. She came to visit and I picked her up at the station. An hour or so later.... wooohooo

I have to say I agree big time with the staying away from the cinema as a first date, go somewhere you can talk and have fun. If that means making a muppet of yourself, such as skating or bowling, where you can have a laugh at each other's attempts then so much the better.

You know what guys that sounds like a good idea. I am thinking a simple coffee or dinner. I can't skate and like my ass unbruised unless she makes the bruises :naughty:

    Will see what happens.

    Nice going.

When I was going through some similarly dark times I always found it of great help to talk to people I didn't know, not even about my problems, just in general. I found this helped because they didn't know me or what I was like or my history and so on and, if they were of a mind to give me advice, they could be impartial and objective. Plus I never had to talk to them again if I didn't want to.

F### Bro, Many of us are here as and when you feel you need someone to talk too. I can't begin to understand your current situation, though I have been through similar stuff in the past.

    Bro Hugs.

To continue the whole getting girls to go out with you theme...I'm seeing one who I've been talking to for about a month next weekend :D

She's four years older than me and I think I may be punching over my weight here. So be it!

Also, I've cut my sugar intake massively and I feel so much better for it. I'm not fat at all, I have a quick metabolism that means it's impossible for me to put on weight, but the amount of energy I have now is unparalleled! Getting back into getting fit too, I'm going to have so much energy it's going to be crazy.
