Having Chinese for lunch.

 

Dishwasher (not the wife) stalled halfway through a cycle yesterday whilst full of water with an error code, which the manual stated was a water inlet error. No hope of stretching to a new one or a repair man at the moment, so I did what any respectable Bit-techer would - dragged it into the garden and started taking it to bits.

By the time I'd got to the drainage pump I was nearly out of options and planning a trip to the dump, but then I took apart the pump assembly and found a shard of mystery glass inside. Win.

Put it all back together again with no screws left over and gave her a thorough clean. She works like new. I can only assume the water inlet had tripped because it couldn't drain (to prevent flooding)? Whatever, it works.

Evening breeze is heaven.

 

Off to Stockholm with a plane load of mates (literally, private plane Cheesecake) for a 3 day jolly.

Expensive, yes, but this is going so be full of epic win I don't care

 

About to leave my poor wife and baby to jump on an aeroplane with 7 of my closest mates for Vegas topped off with some Virgin Upper class cheesecake!

 

Spent the last 10 hours at an Indian Naval air station shooting literally every type of aircraft operated by the Indian Navy. Fun times.

I just brought a laptop from the brink of death.. Soda damage... not my fault.. Jeesh.. I had to take it apart to clean the sugar from the motherboard and other pieces of the laptop..

I swear that every time I touch a computer, it's better than before!! Every time I touch a laptop that's dead.. it's resurrected..

WOW!!!!! This reminds me on why I love to work with computers!!!

This'll have to do for now. I just got back home from another session - this time 8 hours - so I am going to first stuff my face with food and beer and then get down to processing the rest.

 

My tickets to see Dave Mcpherson arrived today.

Makes me happy that Royal Fail can deliver when they choose too.

 

Only 2 more exams and a pointless presentation and I'll, hopefully, be finished with University.

 

New HTPC case is coming my way via a friend.

Off to see Dave McPherson live in Birmingham. Few beers maybe in order. See how I feel. (Dont drink much tbh)
