Finally got my other HDD working on my PC...Left it installing 500gb worth of games...Woot

 

Was pondering around thinking how on earth I'm going to connect my z5500s to my system then spotted a optical output on the Virgin box! Sounds great yet to find a solution for the computer to the tv to the computer.

Also rerouted the installed Virgin cable to the tevo box for cable manage 'not bad'

 

Cheers everyone - seems from conversations i've had with others it was only me and the music teacher who got an outstanding rating.

I teach physics but have always made a point of trying to make it accessible to everyone - no matter what ability they have and even if teaching a kid for 5 years from yr 7 to 11 and they only ever really switch on in one lesson - that's my job done!

Always taken a realistic view of what kids like today - and sadly science/engineering/tech in general is not high on the list, so occasionally i speak in slang/do partial lesson in bro-speak yo - whatever it takes to get them to pay attention

Does not however make me outstanding every lesson and i'm not going to let one 25 minute observation boost my ego to unreasonable levels, nor would an unsatisfactory rating ruin my life.

In bad news - school was rated as needs improvement, so life will be hard for a while in terms of planning levels required and visits from inspectors/local authority

 

Congratulations mate. Whilst I'm not going to say that physics is my favourite science (chemistry Cheesecake), it's definitely key, and sadly doesn't always interest people.

Also, something that blew my mind: horizontal motion doesn't affect vertical motion. I spent the next 30 mins throwing two pens across my desk.

Well I didn't die, completed it in pretty much bang on 2 and a half hours as well. Considering I've never ran more than 8 miles continuous I'm pretty chuffed with that.

Now off to pizza hut for victory meal.

 

Yesterday i got the news that my original 6 months work contract will now be permanent. I cannot say how thrilled i am and the joy on my parents faces when i told was just amazing to see And the thanks i got from teacher at the school where i work was was very nice too since the Ofsted inspection went well and the IT systems, mainly the printers survivied

I'm an IT technician btw

 

Got my first gardening job! Which involves leveling out a small area in a garden.

Now I just need to aquire the tools from friends and family then after being paid buy my own tools and away we go! The future is bright!

Will be able to add it to my portfolio for future customers!

Long story short I've been given the opportunity to strut my funk designing skins for the new NFS. if my samples impress them on Monday then it looks like another contract could be on the horizon.

As long as it is better than the last two games. I have played both The Run and Most Wanted and they are not worth the money what so ever!
