    People talkin' 'bout speeds, eh!

I think someone made a smallish mistake when configuring the building's network, at least internet is included in the rent so I can't argue with that!

There has been rumours that the speeds might go up! I'll wait and hope for 100/100 or 350/150.

Also so we are not totally off-topic, insane results from gym yesterday, all kinds of gains! Expecting the same today.

The feeling that i am helping someone with the stuff i have no use for - to be more exact, i got bunch of "older" translated programming books (read few books from 1995-2000, and many more from 2000-2010, in Czech or Slovak language). I offered them as a gift for anyone who is interested in them on one of the local forums here in Slovakia, and half of them is already "gone" - that is, i need to send them or they need to get here to take them.

My only "problem" is that now i seen the prices i paid for those books back in the time again :D.

Finished work till saturday. I should be receiving Logitechs top end gaming keyboard and headset for review today. Which means more writing to do. And because they are gaming related I get to game whilst using them.

Small chance I can keep them too. Though they won't replace my headphones and Filco kb. But we will see. Also gives me a good reason to clean my keyboard as it is rather dusty.

And by dusty I mean full if crumbs.

When I moved in with my fiancee we bought a new bed. I'm funny about stuff like that....

Any way we bought a shaker style pine bed frame and a 10" memory foam mattress.. All was great until about a week in and the supports collapsed. I emailed the seller (Ebay, we paid £140 for the frame) and it must have been a common problem so he offered either a refund or a replacement. We took the replacement but during the wait I took the bed apart and made box section supports for the one we had and that fixed it perfectly.

So then we had a spare frame... Any way, we're due an extended visit to mum's soon due to us being stuck where we are atm (fiancee just had a hysterectomy, not pleasant :( ) and when we go to mum's we usually have to kick her out of her bed and pinch it. This doesn't do mum's back any good because she suffers from arthritis..

So I decided to take a set of saws and other tools to the spare frame and I've successfully turned it into a small double (4ft) so yay for me :D

Just need to pick up a memory foam mattress now..

    Yay for free things!

won an argument with a conspiracy theorist

he was ranting off about government spreading mind control chemicals and how he has to sleep with a decent gas mask on

then I pointed out, the gas masks are rated by government appointed scientists...why would they sell him a product that breaks their mind control of him...he promptly shut up

but he also believes that cannabis is the cure to the mind control chemicals...
